City / Citeh Drinking and match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wouldn't scan trust Coq against Barry!
An unaddressed area yet again. Yawn. How much was Dembele again?
Oooh I forgot Arsene needed to spend that £13 mil on the French Andy Carrol!
Seems people here are happy to settle for a draw? Funny cos Arsenal have already drawn 2 games any team going for the title should be winning: Sunderland home, Stoke away.
Arsenal should be going for a win today here.
If Giroud is dropped then there's a good chance of doing sthg. Fancy that, a £13 mil sub who can't even get a start against Southampton.

I take it your not brimming with confidence then mate?
is Coq starting?

He wont have a clue who is starting, he was wondering did giroud score last week when he was actually on the bench

First thing I think when I look at that team, is to ask what Mannone, Jenkinson, Ramsey and Gervinho are doing in it?

Then the next one, is to ask why our £13m "RVP replacement" is not starting the game. Barely a month in and Wenger's already admitting Giroud is a flop, as I predicted. Arsenal need firepower to beat Citeh today, but with Ramsey up against Yaya (LOL) and Podolski the only real goal threat it's going to take an almighty performance from
Gervinho of all people...
