The weekends other games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Give.it.a.fekin.rest.

This is called "other games", there are other threads where you can bleat and whine about arsenal and wenger, go do it on those.

Other posters were got rid of for hijacking threads

Goodbye 8)

Ah, come on armchair! you're not seriously telling me you think West Brom can compete for the title, are you?

If not, then I fail to see the relevance of your last comment, to be honest. West Brom beating 10 man Citeh (now drawing) doesn't mean they can compete over a season, it just shows how unpredictable football can be. Their form, and "title challenge" won't last.

Ha ha. I know what this thread is called, I started it.Is it possible to 'hijack' yer own thread
I think its a resounding success and soon I'll be posting a vanity thread just like McD's rumour thread only it'll be much better. 8)

Oh and sorry you dont like my posts but I'm afraid thats your problem - bye.

Tevez was my captain tonight. I also had Kagawa and Reina in my team. It's time for Podolski to score a hattrick now!!
Good luck in your game - can't watch tonight as we play, too :barscarf:

It also 'could' show how a new manager with a different set up, ideas, plans, backroom staf, possibly medical personnel etc can make a huge difference to a club, inject a new impetus and have them, on limited resources, punching above their weight. Albeit as you say it'll probably fade.

Just sayin tho.......

Agree. Was thinking something similar myself when I was watching them this afternoon. Although they were a good, solid team last season with a superb defence and a great forward in Drogba, now that they have all that attacking threat they can create more, dominate position and counter attack like the very best in the world. Strongest squad in the league and probably best starting XI as well. Thought they were impressive against us and even more so against Spurs. Worst thing of all is that I'm actually enjoying watching them play!! :banghead: :banghead:
