I don't care if we've got one decent striker only, any danger of ever playing 2 up front again?

It's just so negative to play 4-5-1 with the 'striker' being a bumbling winger at home against shite teams and just invites them to set up very compact knowing that we are good for a defensive fuck-up or two.

I'll be having a few pints in Phibbers on the HR from about 13:00hrs if anyone fancy joining me. Percy has had to blow me out (not literally) due to work comittments, so it will be just me and my Nephew :barscarf:

I am shitting a brick over this game tbh

We are due one good performance after a poor enough start to the season, Santi apart our new players have been poor and I include Podolski in that too! TV5 has been a bombscare since he got the arnband and I must confess I longed for him to wear it.

Square pegs in round holes as usual with Wenger but trying to pass off Worf as Henry is bending the rules of imagination just a wee bit too much

I'm going and confident we will play shit and probably not win. We have no bollocks and relying on 17 yo Serge Gnabry to come off the bench and get us back in the game when we are behind is a joke.

Hopefully an angry Arsenal support will make for a good atmosphere.

We will piss over these useless :censored: tomorrow - as bad as we are, and we are a poor side, we still ain't as bad as that shower of shites  How any club in the prem league can have Shaun Derry,Ryan Nelson and Anton Ferdinand as regulars in their team is beyond me

My weekend didn't exactly start well - flight due to take off at 5pm eventually got airborne at 6.15pm  That however wasn't the worst part of it - as we were boarding the flight (at 4.40pm) we were told by are lingus cabin crew that due to fog in London we wouldn't be taking off for another hour.........so why the fcuk did we board the plane so fcuking early then ?  If Ryanair did something that ridiculously stupid everybody would rightly be up in arms but aer lingus seems to have got a free pass  :cussing: A couple of people asked why the plane was boarded on time even though they knew it was delayed and the cabin crew basically told us that they hadn't a scooby but that it was ridiculous. That was all well and good but kids are not easily pacified when they stuck on a plane that isn't moving for almost 2 hours

Thought of that is making me suicidal :( Tomorrow has the makings of a very flat occasion - everybody knows how tense/frustrated us Gooners are so if we don't come flying out of the gates early it will be a dreary dull game in which the cold weather will only make it worse :( Of course if we start well with early goal(s) then the new age fans will be wanking themselves silly and singing about their devotion to the c**t in charge   :banghead:

I am finding the whole issue of attending games to be a huge dilemma nowadays - I see others saying about how making the effort and financial commitment of attending the games is not worth it with these players and it makes me consider my own situation and the traveling over from Ireland and I can't help but agree :( However I also seriously worry that one of these days a rebellion will kick off at a game and I won't be there for it - I know that sounds stupid and maybe it is but I have had enough of Norwich type games and I long for a backlash from the fans like we witnessed at the grove last season when the :censored: subbed ox and if/when that happens I want to add my tuppence worth to the backlash 8)

Definetley think we'll get the 3 points tomorrow although a real good positive footballing display is a must

We can talk till the cows come home about how shit QPR are and we'd be right - Augie has listed a few like Derry and Ferdinand - but they played for them last season too when we were absolutely pathetic at Loftus Road and got rolled over.

There are calls to play 2 strikers and not before time either.....but we all know that won't happen and so we'll play right into QPR's hands by playing either Forehead or Le Chapman up there on their own whilst 9 men form two defensive lines on the edge of their box. I don't even look at the shitness of the opponents these days - whether its been desperately out of form shit like QPR, Norwich, Blackburn or Sunderland - we've gone into these games so many times thinking "its only ____" and highlighting three or four donkeys in their team - only to see the Self Harmer credit them on a "good defensive performance" after we've spent 90 tedious minutes of passing from side to side at a snail's pace before Ramsey eventually gives the ball back to them

If we don't get an early goal or are lucky enough to get a penalty then I can quite easily see this being 0-0 or 0-1. I reckon it'll be decent odds on both of those scorelines so might even have a punt

This is what you're up against M. Self-Harmer:

•QPR have failed to win any of their opening eight Premier League matches. It's the club's worst start to a top-flight season since they failed to win in their first 13 matches of the 1968-69 campaign. They finished that season last and were relegated.

•They are winless in their last 17 Premier League away matches since a 3-2 victory at Stoke in November 2011.

•Only Southampton had conceded more than the 17 goals shipped by QPR and Norwich prior to this weekend's fixtures

SO IF I HEAR ANY FUCKING SHIT ABOUT THEM PUTTING IN A 'GOOD DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE' IT SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY YOUR RESIGNATION :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
