FRIMPONG: TO BE SOLD or GO ON LOAN?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just on the subjects of loan, who read the Loan Watch article on Pravda? Doesn't make pretty reading if our loanees are meant to be getting playing experience:

Wellington: Not in the squad
Denilson: Not in the squad
Bendtner: Not in the squad
Charles-Cook: Played no part
Roberts: Not in the squad
Rees: Did not feature
Jeffrey: Not in the squad
Ryo: Not in the squad
Park: unused sub
Chamakh: unused sub
Aneke: played first half only
Afobe: Started but subbed midway through 2nd half
Djourou: played 74 mins
Frimpong: Came on as a sub on 64 minutes
Campbell: Started but subbed after 72 minutes

Out of 15 players on loan not one player played a full 90 minutes. Only 4 were in the starting line-up and only 5 got any playing time. 8 weren't even in their team's squad (inc Denilson and Bendtner).

It is point made on here at the start and end of almost every season. Our loanees never seem to play (regardless of who they are) whereas a Utd loanee starts virtually every game wherever they are at.

The worrying thing though is if you look at that list the majority have cost us a transfer fee and hefty wages on top but can't get into poorer teams. What does that say about ouir famous scouting system and the judgement of the manager and coachig staff in agreeing to these purchases

Along with all our shit loanees (above) that can't get games at their clubs if you look at the League tables of Arsenal's under-21's and under-18's we are bottom of the league and 3rd from bottom......

http://www.arsenal.com/fixtures/academy/tables

So much for our dynamic youth system  Another Wenger myth

In fairness, Campbell is doing well. He has lately broken into the starting eleven of a team that is among the top seven in La Liga.

Our younger players are so shit (thanks Arsene) that they don't even end at Palace anymore.... and as for Frimpong.... a useless bigheaded wanker, be glad to see the back of the *word censored*.

At least Frimpong shows some passion unlike some of the other overpaid c***s on the pitch

When Frimpong comes on as a 65th minute substitute on Sunday and ' Dench's ' Bale in one of his mad moments then maybe some of the wankers on here slagging him off will perhaps say something nice about him.

Perhaps yes i am biased and know the kid well but he has worked his nuts off for 10 years + at Arsenal, played a part in the Youth Cup winning team and maybe he ain't good enough for the mighty Arsenal's first eleven but that is no reason to pop him at every opportunity- maybe if some of the other idiots used twitter or built a clothes brand or sung a song then they wouldn't end up stoned pissed or in prison

Frimpong fucks me off, haven't seen enough of him on the pitch to work out if he's any good.

But someone needs to tell to shut the fuck up, get off all social media sites and turn that passion into performances.

I bet he feels like he's made it when he's achieved fuck all, he's like a cartoon character not a footballer

You're linking the use of twitter to not going inside? :rubchin:

That's a bit of a stretch   :)

arsecrow, you know what i mean generally.

he might talk a lot shit on twitter and does a lot of non football stuff but Bendtner and Santos can drive like cunz ( and play like them ) then u look at recent murderers and rapists and bankrupts and nightclub nutters and you see that the football world is a far from perfect CV arena.

What matters is on the pitch and agree that it looks like he ain't good enough for us but so be it , he will find his level and earn his living but don't deserve some of the abuse he gets, relative to what he earns as a kid serving out last 15 months of a not lucrative contract, compared to some of the fat slow welsh cretins and overseas crap we have wasted a lot more money on

To be fair George, the worlds greatest Danish striker and the fat Brazilian both get a lot of abuse on here as does Ramsey for that matter. If you are honest you will recognise that most of the abuse he gets is for his off field persona - if he was a proven quality player then the fans would accept that shite he goes on with but the fact is that he is just another of a long line of Arsenal FC graduates who get all big time despite the fact that they haven't got the talent to back it up  To be honest, I have always felt that most Gooners wanted him to succeed more than other young academy players cos they like his all action game
