As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Every week that judas bastard scores its far and away the worst bit of transfer dealing done(and that takes some doing) by Arsole in his time in charge The fucker should be hung drawn and quartered.

Sigh.
The "footballing reasons" as to why he was sold are quite clear, he wanted to win trophies and realised that with us he had no chance, unless Wenker changed his ways (which was never gonna happen)
I do not blame him at all, he's 29 and will be sitting with a League winners medal at the end of the season. All the fuss over moving to Man Utd has been overplayed, we haven't been rivals for nearly a decade now.
Oh I quite agree and don't hold it against him at all.
Reasons to stay - ?
Reasons to leave - to win trophies, to have a decent shout at the champions league, to have a very healthy pay increase, not to put up with Gervinho, to be managed by someone who wants to win every match.

He's doing exactly what he did for us, ie scoring basically every week. The difference being that he's now surrounded by top quality, experienced players & a manager who actually knows what he's doing. Who can blame him, he's made exactly the right decision for himself. He's doing nothing different, hasn't had to change his game & in all likelihood is gonna get a title winner's medal as reward.
If I moved to a new job & didn't have to do anything extra or different but got rewarded much more handsomely in return, i'd be loving it too...

He is still carrying a team though. Every crucial win, comeback, getting of points against the odds by Manure hs been down solely to him. Same with Suarez, he is carrying the red mousers single handedly into the top half. Considering all last year's headlines about us and the rapist one man band , I fail to see the difference this year.
Agree Top Goon, they've beaten Liverpool (twice), Chelsea, City and us, all by one goal and he's scored in each of them. He is, in essence, the difference between them and City.
But even as small-time as they are now the Mousers wouldn't let Suarez go because they know what it would mean. Whereas we practically drove him up to Manchester.

They also wouldn't be as stupid to not pay him what he is worth given his importance - oh yeah - and let him get down to the last 12 months of his contract.
