To be fair to Wenger, Brady etc. I think JET scuppered himself by thinking he had "Made It" before he had kicked a ball for the first team, at least that was my impression.
It is my fear for Frimpong too, though he can hopefully learn from his mate Wilshere's example and get his head down and avoid the off itch nonsense that was threatening to scupper Wilshere's top flight career two years ago.
That is what it comes down to JET was caught driving an expensive car he owned without a licence in his own head he had made it young & overpaid.
He was a beast of a player at a young age mainly because of his obvious physical advantage he could bully opponents not so easy as you move up poor work ethic & attitude.
If he had been good enough I am sure the club wouldn't minded if he was driving without a licence.
I guess £1.1million isn't bad for a player who could be out of football few years later.
No £1.1m is not bad money at all but more so in modern football you have to live the life to come through how many players fall by the wayside because they have no dedication more so than ever you will get found out.
