As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
If....IF we turn up for the Full 90(+ ???) Minutes we can win this, but with both Fellaini and Pennar back....we are gonna have to be at the Top of our game or they will roast...It'll be interesting to see the battle between Sagna and Baines

If we don't turn up - 2 - 3...If we do 3 - 1
There is no reason to not turn up for this one....... they are not Bradford or Blackburn. They are chasing a champions league spot like ourselves, if we fail to respect that and loose we don't deserve to finish above them...... simple as.
Steady on OBG we're playing EVERTON. Useful team with a couple of handy players but nevertheless a team that finds themselves 4 points behind us despite us dicking around for pretty much the whole season again, and a team with a woeful record away to us (and Chelsea, United and Liverpool for that matter if memory serves me correctly) and a penchant for bottling it when they get good opportunities.
We will have to be a lot better than we were Saturday because unlike Norwich Everton will probably have some interest in trying to score a goal from open play, but I would stop well short of saying we're going to get hammered or need to be at our absolute best to win. A solid performance will more than likely be enough to get us the 3 points.
Although whether we'll put one in for a whole 90 minutes is up for debate.
exactly
pienar and felaini 1 goal each against us
they have been up the other end while
rosicky 2
walcott 2
vermaelen 2
arshavin 1
koscielny 1
sagna 1
complacency no
respect yes
fear no
they should be worried about us
We will need to up our game,we haven't played well at all in out recent run of wins and got very lucky Saturday .
Fortunately Everton never seem to do much at ours,a win here and the virtual trophy is shining at us again .
When oh when through will Pdolski start instead of Giroud who was again all but absent again !
Despite our recent results, we've not looked convincing. Everton have only lost 5 games this season. I'm slightly ashamed to admit it but if I was offered a draw now, I'd take it.
Whoever was slating Podolski earlier in this thread has obviously not watched him play. He is the ONLY natural finisher at the club. Calling him lazy is the most ridiculous thing I've read on here in a while tbh. Pod works hard every time he plays, runs at oppo players, tracks back - and he covered Gibbs brilliantly early in the season in particular.
The only issue with Pod for me is that Wenger is not playing him in his best position (shock horror ). I honestly think Pod could be a 20+ PL goals a season striker if he was played as a striker in a 4-4-2.
I'd start Rosicky and bench Wilshere - clearly didn't look fit Saturday and was well off the pace. It'll give us a huge lift to have him come off the bench too.
If Fabianski doesn't make it I guess it will be a good indicator as to whether or not Szczesny has learned anything from being dropped...
Podolski will move on in the closed season I believe. Like so many players at our club now I get the idea that he is not here to stay. We sell our best players on and loan out the dead wood to run down their contract. We have no 'banner' players anymore, no player to turn into a hero, a fan's favourite, an iconic player we can all love and respect.
Liverpool have Suarez who bangs in goals game after game yet they are below us, again, in the table. Imagine us with such a player whoes shirt would be on all our backs, a hero, a legend. To be honest I can't think of one of our players that I love now, just a bunch of under achieving journey men who none of us would really miss if they moved on.
Jack, he may show a bit of heart but I could imagine him playing for another club . Whatever happened to the heroes
