Seeing us - given the season we are having - in with a realistic chance of finishing 3rd does make me laugh about Chelsea.....

I know it always sounds churlish, but them winning the Champions League and FA Cup last season really did paper over the cracks. Truth is that one Premier League title in seven years is a very poor return for the money they have spent and during a period when you might otherwise have expected them to be a dominant force in the English game....

And for them to finish outside the top 3 two years running would be a major embarrassment.... At least we have the "excuse" of a new stadium millstone around our neck and a board/Manager that won't spend!!
