Agree. We definitely need something out of this game. Moneybags are too lazy to track back and let scum score goals. They were sh*t until they got the equalizer.

He wants to beat Celski's 95 points, so no easy deal for us next weekend.

Don't think he was ever going to be happy to turn up and put in a half-arsed performance, we're talking about Ferguson here. But despite what he says it's likely his players' mindsets will be somewhat more relaxed, even if they are highly professional.

It will be outrageous if they end up with a record points total this year.

After the chavs dropped two points late yesterday I do not see them getting top 4 so am not expecting the result of this game affecting us tbh

Ferguscum's team selection on sunday might turn out to be a show of gratitude to wenger - if, as expected, the league is won tonight then I wouldnt be surprised to see half their team left on the bench or out of the squad altogether. Yes they have no other cups to play for so resting players is not a necessity for them but old whiskey nose wont want to help the spanish waiter plus he is great buddies with wenker since we are no longer a threat to them so a favour in return for selling rvp to them might be on the cards ?

The negative aspect of that is that players like shrek and anderson always seem to play for us and scholes will be chomping at the bit to avail of maybe his last chance at kicking lumps out of our players  Rvp will def not play imo so little pea will also want to show his worth and for a guy that will probably looking for a summer move these opportunities to shine are important to him as well

Of the three teams looking for the top four spots, the bookies make Chelsea the favourites. I can understand why - somebody on another thread noted that they've got a tough run-in, but it doesn't look too bad to me:

Swansea (H)
Man Utd (A)
Tottenham (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)

I'd usually have Man Utd as nailed-on to win that, but as they'll have already won the title it's hard to know what to expect. The Tottenham game is tricky, but out of Chelsea and Tottenham, I'd much rather be in Chelsea's position of having the home advantage. I'd imagine that they win the other three, so we're looking at a potential 10-13 points out of 15. Which will be enough IMO. Even if we win our remaining four games, which is unlikely, it's obviously only 12 points.

Hope United wrap it up tonight, hate the :censored: but I could not watch or listen to the shite that you would hear if they won it at the Grove. Our season has been a failure and that would compound it. Augie in a way if they win it tonight it may be better that they play a stronger team against us, fringe players are sometimes hungrier. Think Sunday will be a polite draw.

We're not obligated to give them a guard of honour. There is no rule by the FA that states that you must do it.

I just want us to kick the living shit out of them. I'm sure Jack will.

We ain't United though and this isn't Old Trafford. Even if that was an approach we'd take we would never get away with it like they used to every fucking year early-mid 2000s - Ferguson knew we were better than them so he just sent his team out to kick us off the park.

Personally I think it would be very small time & classless if we didn't give them one, especially after they gave us one at Highbury in 91. They've won the thing, granted we played a large part in helping them achieve that, but fucking accept that, swallow your pride & do the decent thing. Personally i think it should get a total non-reaction from the crowd but I expect loud rounds of "you're a *word censored* robin" as they come out onto the pitch, which again I think is a pretty spurs-y thing to do. We're trying to wind him up whilst he celebrates with a PL medal just 9 months after leaving us? Yeah, i'm sure he'll be crying himself to sleep.

I just hope that when the game starts we actually get stuck into em & show some bollocks.

Not looking forward to the guard of honour or the inevitable taunting banners about our failures (bet our fucking stewards won't be as quick to remove them as they are anything put up by home fans!) but it'll still be preferable to them winning the thing there by a country mile.

If it's not enough to be the first team to beat the Champions whilst pushing for the virtual trophy then this team can fail miserably and disappear in this season of mediocrity

I thought this was the case after reading up on it but I assume we will since we always bang on about how classy we are.
