Home against the mousers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We are the bookies favourite. PP has us at 13/10 and the Scousers 9/4 They must know something.
Good value for the bin dippers I'd say.
Favourite score is 1-1 = I will stick with that.

Never look forward to this game, mainly because of the mouthy plastic 'Pool "fans"... mostly related....Going for a draw, neither will be Champions in May, one will win virtual trophy after battle between the two and Spuds...

Taking one last look at the table this morning. It was fun whilst it lasted.

The problem with Liverpool, as so many others have said, is that their strike force is excellent but the rest of their team is average at best. So whilst normally you would expect us to put at least 2 away, with the way we so often snatch defeat from the jaws of victory then it's difficult to knock the idea that it will be 'one of those days' in-front of goal from the back of your mind.

Well I heard Mr Wenger say that we are genuine title contenders so with this in mind I'm going for a 3-1 win. :barscarf:

He also said that there were 5 teams that were title contenders, l'pool being one of them, so with this in mind I'm going for a1-1 draw. :?

The pessimist inside me (not literally  ) is going for 1-2 loss.

I therefore think it could be any of the scenarios above.....

Between the goals their strikers have been banging in and the complete lack of quality in the rest of their side I fancy both sides to grab a couple - 2-2.

Punditry sometimes makes you laugh, Our defence is weak yet has conceded 3 less goals than City before today and 5 less than Manure. And only one more than dippers and the parsimonious defence of the moaning one.

Still see this as a score draw. Would love a win but if we concede early to these effers then we will struggle to get more than a point.
