As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was an eternal optomist before I joined this place, now life's glass is always half empty
I'm guessing the glass will be bone dry when There's Only One (feel free to edit) signs his new deal in the next couple of weeks
I'm slowly creeping into the rodders camp on this one. We are top at the new year and he still hasn't signed which I would have thought would be the best time right?
I think if we win fuck all he will go, and if we win something then it's a trophy winning either way.

3 more years of the gravy train I'm afraid. 4th is a trophy at Arsenal and we will definitely win that one......so he stays
Giroud out - probably a good thing. he needs a rest and we need Pod fired up and in form.
a bit worrying that Walcott has a shoulder injury. again. just come back from four month out - 3 games and then he's back to the shoulder he had twice in 2013.
Ramsey's out for another 3 weeks. so maybe Easter for him ?
Rosicky hopefully is fit and thus no need for Bendtner, Pod can go upfront...

Seems to be a bit of a problem with Walcott. A lot of muscular non-football specific injuries like abdominals, shoulder that rule him out for weeks at a time.

he has a slight frame and or its poor conditioning.
he's already had that shoulder operated on twice too.
its like Jack's ankle - he gets a kick or a pull and he's done for 4 games.
Jack needs to wear ankle guards like Ardiles did for Argentina in the 1970's.
Well I for one am looking forward to today. Taking my father in law who comes from a big West Ham family...he doesn't like football but wants to go to the Emirates - gooner-fication! So wave to Gerald in North Bank Upper today! COYG! Happy New Year all
Few mind games going on yesterday. Think Arsenal will have a strong line-up, couple of injuries, bit of rest and rotating but most are fine.
10:12am - 1 Jan 14
Don't know what the line-up is yet, but if Pods is playing (and he should be if there's any justice) He will win us the game.
Cardiff may try and see if they can rough us up a bit, bring on Frimps and let him take a few out, get booked and booked again ...then we win with only 10 men. simples
