i can't help it if people are so thin skinned when i correct them that they have to resort to insults and stuff.
he's had a number of snidey digs this past week which i ignored out of pity for him but enough's enough chap.

It's an internet forum and pretty much nobody on here has a clue who either of you are.clockender1 wrote:what so everyone else can see him mug me off with snidey remarks "because i haven't worked a day in football" apparently ?Chippy wrote:Why don't you put him "on ignore"? doesn't matter - its the principle. why should i get slagged off just cos i corrected his comment that Barcelona were Champions when Pep took them over in 2008, when they hadn't won it since 2006 ?Chippy wrote:It's an internet forum and pretty much nobody on here has a clue who either of you are.clockender1 wrote:what so everyone else can see him mug me off with snidey remarks "because i haven't worked a day in football" apparently ?Chippy wrote:Why don't you put him "on ignore"? Re: More than 6 weeks for Jack
He pulled out of every challenge against the Orcs because he was worried he'd get injured and miss the World Cup but yesterday he was getting stuck in all over the place to impress the England boys. Wilshere is a country over club wanker, I wouldn't feel an ounce of sympathy if he were to end up missing the World Cup. Can't stand him, overated twat who let the hype get to his head.

Re: More than 6 weeks for Jack
Jacks problem is that he would rather gain millions of followers on twitter and come on after the game and say " that wasn't good enough,we will bounce back and be better next game"
,rather than getting the business done on the fucking pitch!
So sad because I genuinely believed he was going to become an Arsenal legend but now I just cannot see it.
He is a squad player at best for me just now.
(I know this doesn't necessarily tie in with the injury topic but it's about jack so thought I'd post here)

Indeed. Didn't he once tweet about supporting the Chavs in a European tie "because they're British"1989 wrote:He pulled out of every challenge against the Orcs because he was worried he'd get injured and miss the World Cup but yesterday he was getting stuck in all over the place to impress the England boys. Given that their European run completely jeopardised our be-all and end-all qualification for the following season I'm surprised he wasn't hanged, drawn and quartered outside the stadium by the regime.Leyton Gooner wrote:Indeed. I agree with all of that - my first thought when the injury news was posted on here this morning. was 'great- now the muppet will be all over twitter'.scotgooner wrote:Jacks problem is that he would rather gain millions of followers on twitter and come on after the game and say " that wasn't good enough,we will bounce back and be better next game"![]()

imho he should keep his head down like Ramsey and get on with it. Feo is rent a quote too - i don't want to hear about you bouncing back strong, i want you to do it first THEN you'll get my attention.
i was massively proud of him when he broke through, i thought like everyone else did, he'd add a few goals to his game push on and be the conductor of our midfield.
but as soon as he got marked by the media as England's Next Big Thing, his career seemed to plateau. then came the injuries, the falling down and the trying to do too much, being out of position etc etc.
he definitely hasn't made the progress that Theo and Ramsey have, but he was only just 22 last month so maybe a lay off will give him time to think about his priorities ?
with just 4 league goals in 84 games, he can't start ahead of Ramsey and tbh i just looked at their comparative heights - Ramsey if 6' and Jack is just 5'7" - so maybe the falling down is just cos he's too little for the role he's been given ?
i think we have to give him one more whole season, otherwise he might be better off in Spain where he'll have better protection maybe ?
i hope he turns it round for us though.

I really do hope he does turn it round. (For Arsenal and for himself). I just hope he sees what we are all seeing and makes that change.clockender1 wrote:I agree with all of that - my first thought when the injury news was posted on here this morning. was 'great- now the muppet will be all over twitter'.scotgooner wrote:Jacks problem is that he would rather gain millions of followers on twitter and come on after the game and say " that wasn't good enough,we will bounce back and be better next game"![]()

To be honest I don't think there is much between Ramsey and Jack except attitude.
Ramsey has his feet on the ground whereas Jacks head is in the clouds.

true that. though Ramsey has a better instinct positionally in front of goal. or he's just more aggressive getting into the box and letting fly - Jack did score some screamers early on.scotgooner wrote: To be honest I don't think there is much between Ramsey and Jack except attitude.

Re: More than 6 weeks for Jack
I was also pissed off to see him return to 'play on' after that challenge looked pretty bad. Looked like a break first up. Worry for me is Podolskky will more than likely get more games now !. Ozil & Thomas Roz still not too bad CMF if both put in & stay fit !. Replay maybe on the cards.

Re: More than 6 weeks for Jack
Spot on 89' and as someone else said, our form will improve in his absence.1989 wrote:He pulled out of every challenge against the Orcs because he was worried he'd get injured and miss the World Cup but yesterday he was getting stuck in all over the place to impress the England boys. As for the world cup. I hope he makes it, as it will expose him as the over rated player he is plus he is a banker red card.

Re: More than 6 weeks for Jack
the club have hyped up an English core being the future.
well as things stand only Oxlade Chamberlain is likely to be on the plane to Brazil
Walcott - injured. too fragile
Wilshire - injured. too fragile
Gibbs - injury prone. too fragile
Jenkinson - not good enough
meanwhile Liverpool are developing a real English core - Stevie Me and Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge, Johnson
and this is a club with half of our budget and still playing in an old stadium.
why did we leave Highbury?

Stevie Me - past it, living off past glories
Henderson - average, might develop, might not, no different to Jenko
Johnson??!! - bahahahahaha
