i think the Globe is the best option too.
when I get to Wembley I just want to walk up Wembley Way and into the stadium - not wandering off to some over packed pub

The bar that Red Action hired a few years back has closed , I think. The area round the tube station doesn't offer many bars with much outside space. So IMO its baker street or Wemberley.

Come and join the forum piss up at the globe !

Finchley Road is pretty limited for bars; just the North Star, near the tube station.
Or the Wetherspoons in the nearby shopping centre.
Kilburn is probably a better option than Finchley Road.
Both areas will be busy I expect, but sense the real atmosphere will be around Baker Street.

According to that link, Powerleague on Olympic way is a 'designated Arsenal pub' : WTF?

Don't got for a pint there, or you'll be four drinks down by half time.

The globe is the one lads. Been the a couple of times with the local team Cambridge Utd. It's a nice pub with enough space to build a good pre-match atmosphere.

the GLOBE is where its at :barscarf:

by the way anyone know the quickest way out of the stadium?
I am right round the back of the stadium so is it quicker for me to go to Wembley stadium overground or Wembley Park underground? i have only ever used the underground before.

It will be heaving all ways out tbh. Wembley Park will offer more tubes away from wembley in a short space of time than wembley overground.

Just read this about wembley pubs, they will shut an hour before the game. Another reason to drink in baker street imo, although you probably should leave baker street an hour before to get into the ground.
