Does that mean that you are better off buying a Junior Gunner membership rather than Red??? As far as I know, once the Family Enclosure is sold out then you can use a JG to buy full price tickets anywhere else in the ground anyway? Is that correct??
I'm a bit worried that a man of your age is hanging round with young children and calling them 'friends'

Fair point... ! He is 19 though so I don't think Yewtree will be interested !
Trouble is that because of the shared passion for Arsenal I also regard my 16 & 18 year sons as mates... !
Guys as a relative newcomer can anyone give me some advice? I have been trying to get my Arsenal obsessed 14 year old son and I over from Belfast to a proper home match having only managed last years Emirates Cup so far but getting tickets has proved difficult to say the least. I was therefore considering taking out 2 memberships to try and improve our chances next season but .... can the memberships be linked so that we get tickets beside each other and there would be little point getting one ticket without the other? Also what are the chances of getting tickets via a membership .... are tickets snapped up quickly or is it relatively easy to get them? It's a pricy option I know when we might only use the memberships once or twice a season especially when you add in the cost of flights and possibly an overnight stay but if it guarantees 2 tickets would certainly consider it. Any advice or alternative suggestions gratefully received, thanks.
would buying red memebership help me get away tickets? or are they always all sold before the red window? is it just easier look on here in the hope of someone selling spares?

No, away tickets always go to 10+ Golds, only get a membership if you want home tickets.

Yes, membership can be linked so you can get seats next to each other.
Very good chance of getting tickets for cat c or midweek games, cat b still moderately easy, cat A less easy. All depends where you want to sit- red members will find it hard to get into the lower tier.
Your 14 year old can get good cheap tickets at £10 in the family area, but youve pretty much no chance as a red member which is what you have to be.
There is also the ticket exchange and as a single member getting tickets from that is often pretty easy but a lot less easy to get pairs of tickets.

Not always- some do go to red but its certainly unusual. Villa midweek went to red as did WBA in the thingy cup (Went to general actually . Agree red is def not worth it for odd aways

Myself and daughter were members - she a junior gunner and I would often get tickets for us together in the family enclosure - as already stated for the lesser category matches not the top games. If you are only going once or twice a season the membership together with the tickets would be quite expensive - depends how often you intend to go.

cheers for the info guys. i went to 6 aways season just gone but no homes. villa was one of them, and yeah because it was a monday night game, on sky aswell, there were loads of spares goin, and i thought id read somewhere it went to red. i still may purchase red memberships, and by memberships, like the bloke above, ill probably purchase 2, so i can get 2 tickets to either bring the missus (if i have to!) or preferably a mate !!!

You could join a supporters club who have priority over Red Members and would have a better chance of getting to the big games
According to the membership hotline I am Red again next year. That must be 11 or twelve years now!
My best mate joined one day before me and has been a silver for three years now...it just doesn't figure.
I asked them where I am on the waiting list and if what they tell me is right, I haven't moved at all this year. Surely at least one person must have given up their membership

Depends how long you've had it.
Juniors apparently don't automatically apply for Silver's no more I think. Touts use to get a shitload of junior memberships without using them and just got them renewed till it turned silver so the Club has changed policy for this or next season. You either get red or silver depending on how long and games you've attended as a member.
Normally at 19. But at 17 it turns into Cannon which is the same as a junior but JUST £3-5 more expensive.
