The wealthy thing has something to do the hate though, yes : Think of a young pro who has secured a contract at a big club, and before making a first team appearance gets himself a pimped up Range Rover sport in all white, with the number plate 'D3 NCH', and drives round town trying to get noticed, all the while hanging out with his pop star mates and 'inventing' a stupid fucking word to try and shift his own clothing line, instead of knuckling down and putting his talent to work, and maybe setting himself a target of, say, 50 first team starts before buying himself a nice car and moving out of his Mum's house to ensure he keeps his feet on the floor and focusses on his football.

What an odd comment to bring colour into it, this club is as multi cultural as you can get.

He is disliked because he is a dick, he represents everything that is bad with the game now.

He is a kid on big money which is completely undeserved due to his performances for the club or out on loan, rather than work hard and try and better himself he has adopted the superstar lifestyle where it seems that is his main focus over his football, its all image and status over success at your trade, that is why he is disliked.
