Back in 1979...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Jennings was very good for us ,but legend ,nah !

I do remember a rampant west brom playing us on boxing day in 77 with Regis and Cunningham ripping us to shreds ,Jennings made the score line respectable with a string of outstanding saves .

I think they went up to Manchester afterwards and hammered Utd 5-3

Cracking Xmas with Public Image doing shows at the rainbow and we had the run of the place for 2 nights ,what a party !

PIL at the Rainbow after West Brom :barscarf: Seems like yesterday,

I do remember Jennings having some great games especially away in the cups at Man City LC & Forest FA Cup, the opposition could have played all night & still not scored :D
