Acid- Gooner anyone ?
Was at Anfield 89 I think, with a big acid house smiley banner and I think an Arsenal / Celtic hat ?
Also there was the Cypriot fella who had a Cypriot flag (which may have been the cause of Arsenal banning individual country flags at one point)

I remember rip roar very well, occasionally stood near him in the North Bank, I don't ever remember him being there with a wife, there were a couple of groupie girls who used to hang off his every word, they used to come identically dressed in those horrible tracksuits we had out back in the early 90s, and neither were blessed with what youd call good looks.
As well as the rip roar shout he always used to try and engage with the opposing keeper, particularly Alec Chamberlain from Luton, who he insisted on calling 'Neville'. To be honest it wasnt funny the first time, never mind for the fifth season running.
In summary he was a bit of a twat.
Anyone remember Angus from the North Bank, black guy who always seemed to be wearing the green kit from 83, and just sang on his own incessantly.

Wasn't that bad looking ?That's quite fu*king crass - disgusting really.
Thats M from Southgate ,He stopped going 3 seasons ago which considering he went everywhere was surprising ,I met first at Independiente in Miami in 1989 ,He wore a Fernabache short against Gala in 2000 and is not a Herd type of guy but fearless, after all he shared hotels rooms with me which isn't everyone's first choice on away trips due to bugle and snoring !Also there was the Cypriot fella who had a Cypriot flag (which may have been the cause of Arsenal banning individual country flags at one point)
Mick the Beret .............Total plank , got very lairy around some woman friends of mine who who had to remind him of who I was and what I represent !
PS What happened to Percy Dalton ? I know him and he knows me but never told him who i was on here !

Yeah, me and my brother saw him at St James' some seasons back, he was wearing exactly the same clobber as he was when spotted on the TVDB10GOONER wrote:Saw him around THOF a few times and I think if memory serves he was featured on a documentary about the rivalry between The Arsenal and the scum.worthing_gooner wrote:What about that guy who was on the SkySports ad a few seasons back? I think it was a clip of him at Old Trafford - or it might have been the Lane - going absolutely mental at a winner - middle aged, dark short curly hair?
I've not seen him at away games before as far as I know.
Have to say, some of the pathetic losers that represented the scum were comedy gold on that doc!Especially the head of their supporters group. He just opened his mouth and a river of skitter came flowing out. I thought someone had stuck a grenade up an elephant's arse tbh. Absolute fuckwit virgin bellend and then some!

There is also that bloke who wears half home / half away kits sewn together, the whole lot, shirt, shorts and socks.
He sat near me in the Clock End a few times.

Anyone know a guy known as 'Chicken Nuggets'?
A mid 40s chap, small frame, bit nerdy looking.
Lives in Hull now but is still seen at the big away games, including all the European trips.
Got the nickname from a sterotypical British viewpoint of ' I ain't eating any of that foreign muck' when it comes to eating in various European Cities, so will only eat in McDonalds, where he believes the safest bet will be the chicken nuggets : hence the nickname........

I'm pretty sure he has been discussed on here before, but what about the guy with the cannon tattooed on his cheek?
Used to see him all the time back in the day, but I reckon it's at least been ten years now ; Anyone?

Bazzo ; helps run the Supporters Club on St. Thomas' Road - has been doing the half & half kit thing for years now, it is definitely his 'thing'.remigardeshair wrote:There is also that bloke who wears half home / half away kits sewn together, the whole lot, shirt, shorts and socks.

Percy/Gus got banned unfortunately but has, shall we say, been "about the place" since...

Anyone that is interested in reading some of the funniest stuff ever on here should search for Gus's Agony Uncle thread. Hilarious stuff.

He's still around, saw him a few times at home matches last season. A very interesting character...TheCook wrote:I'm pretty sure he has been discussed on here before, but what about the guy with the cannon tattooed on his cheek?
