Dortmund (H)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I remember Wenger's excuse for the game at Dortmund

"they must've had an easier game on Saturday" :banghead:

Bout time Wenger even got round to planting some roses

I just cant see us competing in this one, Sanchez will run his balls off again of course, Nacho will get done over again, Danny will probably miss again.
Maybe Pod will play but I doubt it.

with 10 men they managed to keep out Chelsea for the last 70 minutes on Saturday.
they have a good defensive structure. wouldnt be surprised to see them keep it to 0-0 and then hit us on the counter attack and win 1-0.

we also havent beaten a team as high as WBA in the league yet this season

Dortmund don't look too good this season either. I fancy you lot to sneak a win against these.

No wonder why they are having difficulties as big bad Bayern steals their best players every year. Still can't see Arsenal winning this one, 1-1 borefest...

Agree 100%, i cant find any reason that this game benefits us. A win is a chance ofr the AKB'S to rear their ugly heads again, and sprout shite, and if we lose, who gives a fuck, we arent good enough to be in the competition, as proven when we couldnt beat the mighty Anderlecht.
