Newcastle at Home, like

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There must be a couple of hundred on offer.
Maybe its the perfect storm, 2 weekends before christmas, weather getting colder,on the box, and the most unpopular time of Wenger's reign.
I seem to to recall that the last home game before Chruistmas always had a lower than average attendance - but the performance of the team and general atmosphere doesn't exactly help

With Ramsey missing it's almost impossible now to correctly predict the starting 11.

3 strikers? we only go that route when we give opponents a 3 goal start.
Has Clueless not experimented with Podolski in midfield yet?

He should play Pods from the start - and if things get a bit stale and boring - Just bring on the Postman so we can all have a larf at his impersonation of an oversized dyslexic Bambi on ice kicking mid-air.

this is the most naive stupid thing i've heard any football manager ever say (even mark hughes) :
But there is not a massive difference between right-back and centre-back.”

Arsène Wenger gave Mathieu Debuchy a crash course in central defending during Arsenal’s training session on Friday and the manager is ready to press him into emergency service in the position against Newcastle United on Saturday evening.

Wenger acknowledged that Debuchy had never played at centre-half
but the right-back appears to be his only option, as Calum Chambers is suspended and Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal are injured.

God help us.

All because the c.unt is so arrogant as to let Vermaelen go without replacing him AND send Jenko out on loan with no back-up knowing full well we always have injuries (in every position) and being the tightwad c.unt he is - the world and his dog knew 100% we would be short at the back - so what does he do ?

Absolutely sweet fuckall except pick up his huge wage every month, make idiotic statements and tell porkies........................he should be a fecking politician - they're all cun.ts, he would fit in perfectly.

There's loads of others
"Captaincy is overrated"
"Defending is the easiest thing to do"
"We don't plan for the opposition"

Why are you surprised? I think it's mental to put Debuchy up against Cisse and the Spanish kid. There's a HUGE difference between a CB and LB. That's why Jose always wants his full-backs to be around Ashley Cole's size and wants his CB as monsters like Cahill. Imagine playing Evra, Winterburn or Cafu at CB.
It's up there as one of the most retarded clueless things he's ever said. For a guy who shows off about 30 yrs experience...pfffft
In midfield we are much stronger than them (with Sissoko out) but if Papiss has a good game it'll be at least 2 conceded
