Re: Hull FA Cup
Can any of you Gooners that are going to this game, start a chorus of chanting podolski's name when the game kicks off ? I would love to let le cock know what we think of his decision to get shot of podolski and I would like to let podolski know how much us Gooners think of him

Re: Hull FA Cup
After 80 minutes I predict Blocks 2 to 6 will be in good voice but it won't be about Podolski

A Very uninspiring 1-0 win through Sanchez followed by chants on there's Only one
Re: Hull FA Cup
Its a non-story - Ospina was always going to be playing in the Cup, just like Flapper last year. He could save two penalties tomorrow, make 10 world class saves and run up the other end and nod in the winner from a corner in the 90th minute......and Chesney would still start the next league gameMidz wrote:This is good news if true: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... paign=1490

It's come to something when we are placing our hopes for the goalkeeping problems, on a crock that has barely played since he arrived - the irony of us taking the piss out of barca signing tv5 and him being injured ever since, when the reality is that ospina is fcuk all better

Re: Hull FA Cup
Our best natural goal scorer on loan.....of course we don't need him! Lucas, shame on you for not being a Wenker winger! Be there tomorrow and up for a right boo. Don't give a shit if this seems too negative. F@@@ off Wenger

Re: Hull FA Cup
Was already going to happen as Ospina would be the FA Cup keeper a la Fabianski last season. Hope he has a blinder and enjoys his 2 appearances till we draw someone decent.Midz wrote:This is good news if true: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... paign=1490
Re: Hull FA Cup
Yaya Sanogo still at the club, but Podolski gone, and still no one questions Wenger. Wont surprise me if he starts tomorrow

Re: Hull FA Cup
I was hopeful Hull would give us a decent game tomorrow, but look at the teams Leicester & Newcastle selected today.
Where is the magic of the fa cup?
What exactly are Newcastle resting their best players for? an all out assault for 8th place?
Hull will do the same, send out half the team, and our bit part players will probably scrap a 1-0.

Winning the Cup generates about £2m (final), excluding pretty small prize money for each round you progress through; whereas each league position alone is worth £1m.
Most teams honestly can’t be arsed with the extra games.

Re: Hull FA Cup
Surely if we lose this Wenger would have to walk the plank?
If nothing else you would have to think we'd see a lot of Wenger apologists finally defect - then again, probably not.

It will certainly get him a bit less comfortable, could bring on a huge bout of zip fiddling.VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Surely if we lose this Wenger would have to walk the plank?

Re: Hull FA Cup
In the 2012/2013 season, we lost to Blackburn in the FA cup(at home), to guarantee another trophy less season, and he wasn't under any pressure, but when you have the VT, there will always be something to play for, for the AKB'S.VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Surely if we lose this Wenger would have to walk the plank?

Re: Hull FA Cup
Every defeat increases the pressure. if we are losing regularly then the players who aren't playing will get more pissed off that they aren't getting the chance, therefore the dressing room becomes even more fractured and leads to more pressure on Monsieur Ego.
Come on Hull, you can do this!!
