As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cazorla and Rosicky have teamed up well in midfield for the few games theyve been paired. But knowing Wenger he'll bring back Ozil and/or Ramsey into the team and we'll get smashed.
i thought Ozil and Alexis played well together in the last 15 - rosicky gave them both early balls.
the breakway for our "England Regular"'s pathetic miss was Arsenalesque circa 1998.
Caz is working hard, he has tracked back a lot more recently and did release some balls early too.
mind you stoke were utter pants, but it did show that at least four of our players can pass and move at pace still.
OneBardGooner wrote:Also some players genuinely do need more time - a gentler re-introduction back into the full swing of things - and for me Ozil ius one of those type of players....
He always seems 'fragile' - not just because of his slight build - he just looks like a puff of wind could blow him over sometimes...
But hey! what the F do I know.
Have you seen the pics of him floating around? Looks like he's been hitting the gym, didn't notice it at the weekend until I saw the pics.
We will get well beaten, our only hope is that Aguero is off the pace, we deal with Silva and Sanchez has a blinder, just not sure all of that will happen.
We will probably do well for half an hour, concede against the run of play then fall to pieces.
Thierry making his Sky debut Sunday so will be interesting to see if he's the AKB that everyone reckons he will be or if maybe, just maybe he might say it as it is.

If City get the predicted 4 to 6 goals then we'll soon find out won't we !

well seeing him sitting the posh seats at the Emirates next to Pires and the club erecting a statue in his honour and the bloke loves Wenger. I think that kind of tells you what side he will be batting for. He is like most of Wenger Ex players, in the clubs pocket.
We could get beat 5-0 at city and be humilated and Henry will inhale and then buff out his cheeks and say the fans have been spoilt and let Wenger do his job

You're joking right?
Love the player but this man represents the epic AKB wet dream. He'll become the voice of the Spunk Trumpet.
6-1 loss Sunday and he'll remind us that "he once sent unbeaten, fans have short memories" (errr if 11 years is short in your book)

Could be more interesting than the game!
I just hope someone has the balls to chop that goofydyke in half.
It's feckin' depressing either way you look at it...unless we pull off some kind of miracle and win...now THAT would be all the AKB's need to start the SteveO chant!

Not a chance mate. Aside from worshipping Wenger (and not appreciating the slow death since the move) Henry is keen on getting involvement in the coaching/management side of things and Wenger is by far his best chance in that respect. Love the bloke which is what will make it worse in the long run. Henry will curry a hell of a lot of favour with fans that are still leaning pro-Wenger.
QuartzGooner wrote:Be surprised if Ozil starts, for all that Wenger has done in the past with bringing recently injured players back too soon, I think he has learned his lesson, as shown by Walcott's gradual return.
It's not that he's back too early - he's just no good, never was & never will be. Wenger is just waiting for him to develop along with most of the other "promising" young players he has acquired !!! He made a mistake in judging him & he won't admit it.
1-1 would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.

dont agree with that - already on Sunday the signs were there that he could potentially link up very well with Sanchez.

I think this answers your and my questions on that Rodders!
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says Gunners fans who have protested against Arsene Wenger are "out of order". (Times - subscription required)

To use a newly( to me) coined phrase - Sounds like TH is gonna be another Spunk Trumpet - and THAT DOES make me sad...wenger is a SpunkTrumpetCunthole.
