VILLA HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is no way in hell Paulista will start this weekend, id be suprised if he is even in the squad.

I guess he will go like Kos when he joined - look good, but liable for a few mishaps at the start, but will take time to adapt and build rapport with the other defenders.

Glad we have signed a defender, as much as it was much maligned (rightly so) that we didnt have one at the start -there doesnt seem to be an abundance of quality options at CB available right now, lets hope this guy does the business.

oh crap. Got a cheap(er) ticket for this one as wanted to see him play. Oh well, Jack and Welbeck aren't fit yet are they (not my favourites, esp Mr Wilshere) so I might see Rosicky, Santi and the newly Schwarzennegered up Ozil and Theo :)

would like to see:

ospina
bellerin, paulista, kos, gibbs
coq
rosicky, cazorla
ox, giroud, walcott

That's with Sanchez being held out. Ozil could possibly play for Rosicky but TR7 has been doing well. I would in NO WAY, take Cazorla out of the middle, NOR put Ozil out wide. If Ozil and Cazorla both play, they both need to be central, and Cazorla will have to do more of the defensive work (which he has shown he is capable of). Ramsey has no place in the team for me right now. Not good enough currently to displace Rosicky or Cazorla.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure our cuntrag manager is going to play Ozil wide, AND Ramsey in the middle.

Paulista in the team!!??

A player who doesn't even know his team-mates, any of the defensive drills (don't laugh) or speak English. Even Monreal would be a better bet.

Sanchez shouldn't be playing on Saturday regardless of whether he is injured or not - if we cannot (easily) beat the worst villa team that I have seen in years without sanchez, then we should playing our football in the lower part of the championship   FFS these c.unts cant even buy a goal at the mo, much less beat a team like ours away
