Q.P.R. (Away) Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2. People really need to start giving chambers a chance - he came in as an inexperienced rookie and done well until the amount of games and pace of them caught up with him. Le cock then decided to fcuk him about by playing him in 3 different positions in quick succession and thats not fair on the kid. Lastly for what it is worth, I believe that centre back is his proper position and I would like to see him get a run there (and would like to give him another season) before writing him off

3. Ties in slightly with point 2, but when is kos's performances going to be properly highlighted ? For me his performances have, by and large, swapped from being bang average to downright poor - people are rightly quick to slate bfg, but a bit of consistancy here would see a similar amount of criticisim towards kos and right now there isnt even one of sunday's back 4 that I would rely on :(

Chambers was thrown in at the deep end at the start of the season and did well at CB. I think he will become a top CB, but he was moved around a lot and was often left exposed (who'd be a fullback at Arsenal?)

I've been criticising Kos for a few weeks now. He's been anonymous at best and has generally been poor. His contributuion on defensive set pieces is woeful and he is regularly caught out of position. His saving grace is his speed but his concentration has been lacking lately.

It sums up our position that most posters' current preferred option is a previously unknown CB from an average La Liga team.

We might turn up and demolish them - we might get ripped a new one - we might draw - Who the fuck knows anymore with Arsene Wanker in charge.

Got a bastard migraine so I'm missing this. I predict a draw for what it's worth (nothing).

He's ill, apparently.

Mertesacker should not be starting ahead of Gabriel or Koscielny.

Mertesacker the sloth starting WTF is wrong with Koscielny ? doesn't fill me with confidence this pairing, I just hope Bellerin and Gibbs don't forget they are backs not forwards. :(
