Warner given out lbw after the umpire takes an age to decide. Review overturns the decision, the ball pitched outside leg.

WICKET!

Anderson slings one towards Warner's off-stump, he drives, and it edges in Cook's bucket hands at 1st slip.

England have the breakthrough and the dangerman Smith is in next.

Anderson ends a superb over by drawing an edge from Smith. It doesn't quite carry and ends up smacking Cook straight in the bollocks......he's still down, ouch.

Who says cricket is boring?

Cook's gone off the field now.

Probably to check if he's bleeding when he pisses.

If getting hit with a ball of wood in the bollocks is what makes your day exciting, then you must be into some weird and kinky shit

Watching someone else get hit in the bollocks is always funny. As for the rest of your post? Well, it's entirely a̶c̶c̶u̶r̶a̶t̶e̶ false.

It's a leather stitched ball. No wonder the Irish are shit at cricket!

With the exception of Eoin Morgan of course.

The breakthrough!

Ali bowls four good balls and then two shockers but gets the dangerous Smith with the last ball of the over as he holes out to Cook at mid-wicket.

It was decent captaincy from Cook as he placed a good field for Ali with enough fielders to protect runs but still leaving enough catchers in.

Smith goes for 33 and England needed that.

Clarke the new man in.

Sky say Ali's ball that dismissed Smith was a good delivery, and that the catch was taken at silly mid on ( ). Well, Sky can go fuck themselves.

I'm going for a cup of tea.

Cricket tea interval over, still got mine.

Chris Rogers has scored his first six in test cricket with a total miss-hit that just clears the short boundary.

My cat has just eaten a wasp.....

Nothing..............really happening.

The obdurate Chris Rogers was on his way to a well-crafted century until Mark Wood catches him wafting at one too many outside his off stump and is caught behind by Buttler.

He had been a bit lucky with a couple of short balls causing him some discomfort earlier but he has worked hard and deserved to make a ton.

Voges next in.

Clarke's walking.

Caught & bowled Moeen, who looks well considering his sexual exploits earlier with James Corden.*

*Which didn't happen.

Finally something happens.

Voges smacks Stokes straight to Anderson, who takes an easy catch, adding to the number of Aussie batsmen who have got in and then thrown their wicket away.

He’s gone for 31 and Nathan Lyon comes in as night watchman.

Aus 258 – 5 and there are five overs left.

Close of play: Aus 264 - 5.

I can’t be arsed to write a review of the day’s play, seeing I’m the only bastard reading this thread and I know what happened today.

Watson has 29 and Lyon 6.

I’ll be back tomorrow to talk to myself some more. :blah: :dancingbanana:
