As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We beat (convincingly) the champions last season 3-0, in this pre season friendly and it meant nothing in terms our "self belief" or our ability to mount a title challenge
Would prefer us to win but couldn't give a flying fork if we lose - certainly wouldn't get me paying money to watch it.

A big rumour going round that Wenger and him fell out (over his attitude in a league match allegedly) and that he left him out Cup final squad. Dunno if true obv but bearing in mind Wenger is happy to lie about injuries when he's fallen out with players (Almuni "wrist injury" ) and considering he didn't even want to sign Welbeck on a perm basis, it could make sense

I don't know what to make of it. I've heard that rumour too and while it could very well be true it's just as likely to be another botched effort from our medical team where an injury that was meant to keep a player out for a few weeks in May only sees him rejoining the squad in mid September which was the last update I heard. Whatever people's opinions on Welbeck he's a good option for us and the longer this shit rolls on the more I think there's something going on in the background.
Wenger must be falling out with everybody then, during the week there were rumours him and wilshere nearly came to blows ,apparently he told Jack tht Ramsey will play in the centre this season and that he would have to play out wide, now I have no proof of that but like itchy babas FACT about welbeck, how could we know.MUST be great to be a know it all like some.

If that was true, and Welbeck's injury is a lie, how do you then convince him to lie about his injury to England so that he's not selected? - or has he argued with Roy Hodgson too?

He'll just ask him to report to our medical team before an England game and that should do the trick.

Too true.
The definition of Clueless in the New Oxford Lexiconography is Wenger.
