Welcome: Mohamed Elneny

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fraid not me old mucker, but obviously some of the posters on here must be experts on world football because its already decided he's going to be useless.

I'll give the guy a chance and then make up my mind after I've seen him play.

So to make your mind up about him you would need to have some level of expectation from him.......where is that level for you mc ? I am totally underwhelmed by this signing and I don't feel bad saying it, BUT I also feel sorry for the lad because in a team challenging for the title, he will be expected to make a significant impact straight away or he will be slated (and probably by me  ). If le cock bought a genuine top quality DM this month as well, then the Egyptian would be allowed more time to settle in and the demands on him wouldn't be as great - that's my opinion anyway 8)

I know nothing about him ,but will hold judgement till I've seen him play a few games for ,as for my level of expectation it's probably he can't be any worse than flamini and arteta ,maybe he could be another Claude Makele or he could be a midfield yaya sanago

I hope he can do a job for us and I hope he gets a good run of games before the end of this season.

The question is which player in Europe looks similar to Coquelin in build, hair and stature? In fact that's probably on the Arsenal scouting criteria.

Is it true that every game played in the Swiss league must end in a draw? and there are no home or away games, they all must be played on a neutral ground? :rubchin:

True. They also have compulsory sauna orgies with blonde models after each game. Those wacky Swiss! :D
