Scum Away 5th March 2016

We need to find the spirit of the 86/87 league cup semi final team for this one. They were a better team than us then and we won against the odds at their pace. We need players who understand that it is not acceptable to be second best to that team up the road. Gibbs and Walcott have been at the club long enough to understand what it means. I don't think the others do. I hope Henry and Pires are around that first team squad at the training ground leading into this one. If only Keown and Adams were allowed to have a say.

You could drill it into most of these modern mercenaries and they would give exactly zero fucks. :|

Struggling to see anything but disappointment for this game. It's quite obvious that somewhere, Wenger isn't doing enough. Whether it's spending, recruiting, scouting, whatever- it has to be looked at and resolved! We can chat all day about negatives, but it is essential that going into a new world financially for EPL in particular, it is ESSENTIAL that we recruit the RIGHT player, regardless of the amount. Can Wenger instigate a 'new wave' for Arsenal- one where we win things again?

No sanity in trying to talk mentality 30 years ago. Those days are gone when Arsenal players were..well Arsenal Players. Today they enter that pitch alone, not as a team. This is modern football for ya, that football we love and discuss only exists as a shimmer in the real supporter sitting restlessly on his seat not knowing if he should turn left or right actually doing both at the same time, cause how can you feckin cheer for this bullshit, yet how can you not, you cannot not 8) And the days of that are likewise numbered, how will ppl in the future be loving this game stripped of its charm just full of selfish bastards, empty of atmosphere.. football is more full of money than ever but has been utterly impoverished of anything else subsequently.

Anyway we havent beaten this lot for two years in a league match :banghead: as far-fetched any kinda optimism might seem this just reeks of that aforementioned Wenger Law. We just might win come saturday while Watford finally steps into a pool of luck and we'll be three points from glory :barscarf:

Mate, there are quite a few on here claiming to "want him out" but if you read their posts carefully they are always looking to point the finger elsewhere, away from Wenger. Even making stuff up, nonsense, to apportion at least some blame elsewhere.
Even after yet another abject, shambolic display against Swansea I log on here and see fingers being pointed at the fans. Then the players. The enemy within. 8)

u should read the comments under the articles on the hompage. a couple of prime wengerites refusing to portion any blame at him, saying its not the time or place to point fingers, we should back the team and review at the end of the season. chap called westlower springs to mind. its shocking

Any word from the man himself after last night's debacle? I'm hearing that he and Ty stayed back to lead a chorus of TO1AW while all the other ungrateful bastards shuffled away in a chorus of booooos. 8)

Seriously are you out of your fucking mind??? Wenger is the problem, the ENTIRE problem. HE needs to go, then we can start rebuilding. Asking him to buy players is like giving an alcoholic £100 and sending him into the pub for a bag of crisps.

Amen Herd. 8)

There's a couple people on here that need to remember they are Arsenal. Wanting Wenger gone is right. But if anyone comes on this thread saying they want the scum to win in some forlorn hope it will get rid of Wenger then not only are they deluded but they need to take a good look at themselves.

UTA. FTS. 8)

Another thing lads - if this goes pear shaped (likely at this stage with no Cech or Kos) any personal abuse on here will be met with bans. Have a rant. Vent that shit out but be respectful of other posters.
DB10 just to clarify does this include comments on Dwarves, Ewoks etc?

Just asking :)
