Negligent coaching ruined JW.

Destroyed his ankles i.e Dribbling in Paddy McNair's crunching tackle was reckless.

He is not even a dribbler .

Fair play to the lad - he was mustard today, and at Goodison too.

Loves running at defenders and playing at tempo in a direct manner.

Exciting - just like Oxlade Chamberlain 4 years ago.

Don't worry that'll be coached out of him by next season.

Iwobi has Huge potential - Sadly if wenger remains in charge - It will never be fully realised.....he will be played sparingly - because the delusionalcunt wenker thinks walcott, ramsey and chamberlain are better - he will be played out of position and then get injured and finished off by the now infamous ineptitude of the Arsenal medical team...

'According to the Mirror, Arsenal's 19-year-old forward Alex Iwobi has agreed a new £30,000-a-week deal that will keep him at the club until 2021.'
Now he really is like a new signing. We don't need anybody in the summer now!!

I will wait a couple of years before going into over-hyping our latest "potential superstar" - regardless of whether it is down to wenker and his (lack of) coaching or not is irrelevant right now, because all I am interested in is seeing if he will progress into a great player cos I am sick to the teeth of buying into the potential of great young players in our club, only to then see them never get any better than good or average

Incredible isn't it - now, I've been impressed by this lad lately, but if all you've got to do these days to earn a salary of £1.5m a year is play 3 or 4 decent games and score a couple of goals then no wonder so many young lads don't live up to their potential. Think about it, if you earned that money between now and 2021, we're talking £7.5m. How many years would you need to work after that ?

I hope he keeps level headed but the wages these days are just ridiculous for young lads

Classic Arsenal, don't get me wrong I like the look of Iwobi, but rewarding him after two good performances sums up how the club operate. He signed a new deal in October tying him to the club until 2019 (supposedly £10k a week which is plenty at his age) so presumably not much chance of losing him in summer, we should be making young talent work harder to earn better deals. Way too many of our youngsters think they have made it before they actually have and this sort of stuff is possibly going to send Iwobi down that route as well.

As much as I would like to see him remain in the first team, I reckon there is a pretty good chance that at the start of next season he won't be in the starting 11 and depending on who we keep/sign/who is fit, he might even be a candidate for sending out on loan if there is stiff competition for places.
