Makes us sound like a bunch of spoilt brats??
If we get second this will the angle taken by the media. Portrayed by those close to Wenger and followed by non Arsenal fans.

While conveniently ignoring the fact that we are 12 points behind the champions and over the last few seasons there has been a steady decline in both our goals and also the number of points we finish with.

I dont recall Ranieri or Pochettino publicy stating their squad can challenge for the title.
Wenger did, and has done for the past decade.
Spurs never hit the front. we did in January and it was the signal for Giroud to begin his 2nd goal drought of the season.

He also said judge him in May, suppose he will conveniently forget that one

Nonsense, he'll get 3rd or even 2nd. 4th is his "judge me in May" target. He's hit it, again!!

There is finishing 2nd and there is finishing 2nd

In 1999 we finished 2nd 1point behind treble winning Man Utd.That was a very good season we nearly won the double

The following year we finished 2nd again 18 points behind Man Utd that was a shit season

This season we will finish 12 points behind Leicester dont anyone say because we may finish 2nd it has been a good season.IT HASNT

Man City,Chelsea and Man Utd will have new managers because they all recognise they have been shit this year.We will keep our manager.that says it all

We'll beat this sham of a club 8-0. Sanchez will score 2. Giroud will score 3. Feo will score 3. And Wenger will smugly tell us we just saw the "real" Giroud and Feo.

:barscarf: :suicide:

But now that the "mighty sleeping giant"  Toon are relegated (and their players are already mentally roasting whores in Vegas and Mallorca) the scum will win and scrape 2nd. :|

Or maybe the Toon arseholes will want to go out with a bit of pride and - erm, yeah right.

You never know mate. Sometimes when the pressure is off teams they perform to their real potential because the players are more relaxed.

True. And it's the other side of that coin - the scum must be devastated to have come soooooo close  and bottled it right at the end so you'd hope they won't give much of a fuck either.

For me everything about the club is rotten to the core, good riddance is what I say..

I'm now a proud owner of a ST at my local team Dartford Fc ..... I can't fucking wait for next year,
Same here, couldn't give a shit really which is rather sad. Ive also started getting involved with my team, Enfield and while the standard of football may not be as good, the desire from the players is just as good if not better.
Made to feel welcome and part of the club, the feeling when we win is just the same, only this time you have a club that strives to get higher up the ladder and you don't feel like you're having the piss taken out of you by foreign owners looking to fill their pockets.
Looking at the crowds, even at Ryman Premier level and some of the away support, makes you wonder if more and more of the disillusioned fans from bigger clubs are turning to non league.

I think it's inevitable.

I've always had a healthy respect for non-league and am fascinated with the pyramid system and how many hundreds of obscure football clubs ply their trade for the love of the game. Sadly for me, Arsenal is my local club and I was never been able to afford to go before they turned corporate and I'm fucked if I'm giving them a penny now. I suppose Barnet and Enfield are the most obvious ones to go to.

Funny how for years supporters have thought that clubs can endlessly abuse their loyalty by charging what they like for tickets and run it like a bank, with the feeling of being held ransom.
Arsenal, it appears have begun pushing things too far and fans have reached tipping point.
Its a wrench to do it, and once the break is made who knows how quickly, or if it can ever be the same again.
Sorry state of affairs.

I suspect the Scum will be keen to finish above us. The Newcastle players have been lazy, disinterested shits for most of the season and now they have nothing to play for and many of them won't be there next season. I'd be amazed if the Scum don't win by two or three goals.
