Basel (A) | CL | Tue 6 Dec 19:45

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I had it in my mind that he'd play Ozil but no way did I expect to see Alexis play. Fucking insane considering he has a hammy in the red zone.

Then again he played Cazorla in game after game after game knowing he had a dodgy achilles. Anyone remember how that turned out??

Very hard to take the club seriously based on that team selection.

The Arsenal season is taking shape, out of the League Cup,shaping up for 2nd place in our Champions League group,(in preparation for our exit in the group of 16),getting ready for the Jan/Feb meltdown and 4th place trophy.
Also Perez is fucking useless!

Two ways to look at it. My way would be to play a weakened side (which should still be good enough to beat basel) and save sanchez and Co for Stoke. But wengers way will probably play full strength pick up a load of knocks and still finish second as ludo are the worst team in cl history and have no chance at PSG. :banghead: :banghead:
And then lose to Stoke due to being a leeetle beet jaded :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's now official. A meaningless dead rubber in the be all and end all is a bigger game than a domestic QF.

Arsenal RIP

Yes this officially confirms that we are a business and no longer a football club

What a fucking joke. Sachez needs a break, it's a bollox game and freezing fucking cold yet the buffoon still makes him play. Here comes the ruptured calf muscle or torn hamstring.

Alexis has travelled ,and here's a quote from our genius.
"When a guy is in a good success & good confidence,it's more dangerous to stop him than keep going"

So more than likely he will start him. :banghead: :cussing:
Someone pull him up on leaving Arshavin out of the cup semi v Chelsea and tell him what a hypocritical bastard he is please.
