Wasn't there a new rule that if teams ars level on points the deciding factor is now overall possession with no end product ? :rubchin:

I'm pretty sure the team with the most "expected" goals takes it. So that'll be us :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

As a great man once said, players never asked when you sign them ''are you in the league cup'' they asked ''are you in the champions league''.

Now they will ask ''do you keep the ball'' ... ''do you take the initiative'' .

If there isn't a rule that rewards possession then football needs to rethink its process.

Saw this this morning.

Is a playoff on a neutral ground a fair way to decide who goes through?
I think it probably is although it's doubtful that the event will happen.

Thought I'd make the effort and go today. Well it'd be rude not to witness The Manager's last ever away game!!

How the fuckk can he leave Welbeck on the bench - What IS THE POINT of playing the lampost if the wingers are not going to put crosses into the middle?

Wenger knows!? The Ceunt knows fuckall. :banghead:

In that cesspit of a place, you've got to have a it if fight and Welbz knows how to get stuck in. Le Lampost doesn't and is the total opposite of what you need. Yet again, the old *word censored* is picking the player not the tactic. In fact, what is the fucking tactic?

Take it everyone's read Rob Smyth just now in the Guardian in the MBM?
The gist of it is that Arsenal fans should accept season on season failure with good spirit because AW was a fantastic manager from 1997-2005 and was good for English football. So he should decide when he leaves. Anyone who disagrees with this stance and takes "extreme" actions of holding up a sign etc is a terrible human being and worthy of contempt. (Btw, this is a guy who, as he himself admits, pushed for Man Utd to sack the most successful football manager of all time after a couple of dry seasons.).
