Tottenham tuesday Advice

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

please remember that the neanderthals smash women and kids round the face. if you're big, have bollocks and can take care of yourself, then you're sorted. but some need alternative preservation techniques. my advice is for them in the event they cannot acquire a large set of gonads between now and tuesday evening.

Funny story for you all.

My mother's brother (so my uncle) is a spud. He travels back and forth between London and Galway all the time to watch both tennis and football. When he was there a few years back though, he went into the Arsenal shop (at Highbury) and when he returned to Ireland sent a package to me containing all manner of Arsenal merchandise. :D

The one spurs fan I have time for.

tottally agree Mr ED I'm a big fellow but you got to remember as well NBN there is a number ratio as well, I'm a big lump and I can look after myself, but against a gang of 5 or more its not as easy

I'm a big enough guy, and am pretty sure I can do enough to look after myself, so if I were there I'd happily stand up to the spuds as a matter of principle. But when I raised this issue quite a while back I was told by other members that it still wouldn't be possible with numerical advantage etc.

Also, I learnt that spud fans are more savage than some of the rugby league fans I'm happy to have a laugh at over here....

Best be on the safe side if you're alone.

All very well telling people to get bollocks. Without trying to sound big headed im a tough guy and pretty well built and can handle myself very well but the principle of the matter is i would like to go to the game, enjoy an icredible tie with stunning atmosphere and then get home without my mates having to panic about me spening the night in a general hospital cause i decided to be brave and shout my mouth off and proceeded to have 10 **** stamp my head in. If anyone would like to meet me and walk to and from the ground then pm me and i will you pm you my number. My concern is the safety of my fellow gooners and I dont want then to have to suffer like i did last season

No colours
Don't get on a bus, is better to walk it from the station
Head down get in, head down get out and after the police line finishes try and mingle with the crowd
If you're with someone, don't talk about the game with them.

Touch wood, I've usually been okay when going there and have been on my own a few times...and I was there when we won the league there, the carling cup game (2-0 and you fucked it up) and sol campbells return so have been there at the more heated ones.

But I'm going, look otu for each other andstay safe from these knuckle dragging tossers. Come on you reds, Spurs feel that their time is for this one so how bloody brilliant would it be to turn them over again!

i think once i get this one game at the lane out the way i'll know what it is like for the second time i ever go
i've obs heard stories & they are a bunch of tossers who leave early just to have a go at the fans & try & get into the police escort to have a go as well
i don't often wear colours so i don't worry about that one & understand what gooner ed is saying, good idea i say & i must admit i have gone to spurs games with one of them so they don't think your the other half (well they wouldn't do nothing to a southend fan for a day would they lol)
i luckly live quite near the ground st anns/7 sisters way & i'll walk there & back but i'll have my mum staying waiting till i get in from the game & she keeps going on about how she doesn't want me to go
i'm going with somebody i know & have seats next to each other in the upper tier of the ground
i've had many telling me the spurs are the scum, if mobs say there the worst cos i've got contact with a headhunter who was on the BBC program a few years back is planning to ring me about tomorrow :( ain't looking foward to that one but it's cos i'm young & unexperienced at this sort of match
a year ago i never thought i'd go to the lane, the bridge & upton park but i'm postive about going & Upton Park is now allowed but i still didn't get a ticket, the bridge is after my b-day but i want a night out on good friday (good for a reason 8) ) & the lane i never touched about tickets though in this fixture last season i got a ticket but never used it
lets hope i make up for it with a party & a smile the next day
sorry for the long bore
come on
