Wilko, we are good against big teams but we do have a tendency to get frustrated against little teams. Been like this for three years now, just not quite so much this season

Man U have to face Liverpool just like us at home, got to go to Boro who have beaten them a few times in the past, away to a decent Blackburn side, away to Chelsea, home against West Ham who have done well against them under Curbishley. Wigan depending on were Wigan are, safe or needing points could be tricky.

Man U have lost to Portsmouth, twice to City, lost to West Ham, lost to Bolton, drawn with Reading. They are not automatically going to brush all those teams aside, they have to risk their rusty third choice or go for their 4th choice

Man U are fav's and rightly so, game in hand at home to Bolton they should win. It is now up to us to keep pressing them, hope they make mistakes and get to OT with the title still within the balance. 1 (with goal difference, 2) is not insurmountable, not least for a side that is unbeaten in the league since Dec

If we lose at the OT then I will concede the title as there will be very little chance of recovering but not till then.

Hleb had a very bad day, Cesc's passing seemed to go to pot in the second half, Van Persie's passing was good but his shooting awful, Ade and Big Dane did alright but no more then that and if Nick could actually pull the ball back properly... nothing seemed to click

Credit to Wigan, 3 clean sheets in 4 is good form in bid to get clear of trouble which I'm sure they will under Bruce. I'm willing to overlook the Brummie draw, we had chances, conceded two dubious goals and it was a very strange game but the lack of creativity against Aston Villa and Wigan has been shocking.
Ade did all right :?: :?: :?: Are you fcuking sure cos what I was watching told me he was a lazy fucking donkey who wants to be billy big balls without working for his team at all.

You're right, it isn't. However, I am of the opinion that we have completely blown the league title this year. Last time I checked, it was alright for me to voice that opinion. As you well know, I hope I'm wrong, but I see nothing to suggest that we're up for the fight in the run-in. All I see is us shaping up to bottle it big time.

Still, if only I'd been a bit more positive on the forum, maybe we'd still have that 5 point gap

SERIOUSLY TONY, TO SAY THAT WE ARE NO LONGER FAVOURITES FOR THE TITLE IS A FAIR ENOUGH COMMENT. NOW I KNOW EVERYONE IS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RESULT, BUT TO SUGGEST THAT WE GIVE UP WHILE WE ARE STILL TOP AND TWO POINTS CLEAR DEFIES LOGIC AND RATIONALITY!! :?

You're probably right, and although I didn't seriously mean that we should just give up, the sentiment remains the same - I do think we've blown it.

Very disappointing performance, we looked sluggish and had little or no imagination going forward. Wigan didn't make it easy for us, but to be fair they didn't have to run their arses off to get a point, and in fact had a couple of chances to nick all 3.
Apart from Clichy getting forward now and then we don't threaten anyone down the left, which means we have less options and teams can concentrate on shutting us down elsewhere.
I think "if" Ade had scored in the first minute we'd have gone on to win easily but "if" the queen had balls she'd be king.

To be perfectly honest I have thought United were going to win the league since before Christmas, and dropping all these points in games we should win just reinforces that opinion, unfortunately. :(

ONE THING IS FOR CERTAIN TONY, WE HAVE MADE THINGS MORE DIFFICULT - THOUGH NOT IMPOSSIBLE - FOR OURSELVES WITH THE PAST 3 RESULTS. :(

I reckon that if we can beat liverpool, chelski and manure, we have a good chance of winning it.

But can we?
