well said rhyspac! First text I received from a Liverpool supporting mate: "Fuck. Not confident about this..."

If we were gonna draw English (which was pretty bloody inevitable) Liverpool was definitely our pick. And we've had this discussion on another thread already, i MASSIVELY prefer home leg first, get a decent result in the bag, go away for the critical second 9- where your goals count double.

Also confident we could deal with either fenerbahche or chelscum in the semi, tho one step at a time

would rather play fenerbache than chavs but, we would not get great away support out there i dont think

i think roma will beat manure so the final will be

barcelona v arsenal

so lat 4 finals will be

liverpool milan
arsenal barcalona
madrid liverpool
barcelona arsenal

if the sequence keeps up its an arsenal win, an TH misses out AGAIN

That's got to be a dream draw for us - and it'll help everyone to save up for the final, with Chelsea being the most likely semi final opponents. A Liverpool season ticket holder has already been in touch to say that we were the team they definitely didn't want!

Nice to see Man Utd having to go to Roma (again!) as their fans always seem to enjoy themselves there

! And then they have Barcelona to contend with in the semi....

Happy with draw, think after winning at Giuseppe Meazza San Siro we will not fear a European night at Anfield. Hope Theo is fit, his pace will be useful as a sub against their defence.

I wouldnt mind the draw we got except that we are already playing the scousers in the league at that time and to me the league is far more important. That said when you look at the draw and you see games against the mickey mousers with the prospect of the chavs in the semi it doesnt half make you feel that we could be going 2 moscow yet. I said all along that I wouldnt want to go to moscow myself if we qualified but looking at the draw right now I am beginning to have 2nd thoughts

Let the record also show that I said the mancs would get roma

They always get the easiest draw and after thumping them a few times lately it should out as the most likely pairing

Dont talk about Moscow. I was convinced i'd be staying at home due to the cost of a champions league final but am tempted. If i can get hold of a ticket that is.
