Greatest Form of Protest

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Standing at Football matches is guvened by law (The Chief Justice Taylor report) after the events of Hillsboro.
Which is why you can stand at your Seat in the Emirates for Bruce Springstein but not an Arsenal match.

Its a football thing which I don't agree with and there are National action groups to bring back standing. (NOT TERRACING! - there's a difference)
However, the point is that this is something which all clubs, including Arsenal, have to adhere too.
Taylor report says nothing about banning standing. It calls for safer stadiums (no fencing etc)

the other fans are laughting at us as it is

if wenger fails at the end of the season we can protest then and get marco van bastein in with dennis bergkamp as no 2
Calo, they are the combination who I hope take over after Wenger. By having Van Basten alongside Bergkamp it gets over the problem of Bergkamp not flying to European games.

I just need to put my opinion down regarding protest, and i am sure many here will not agree with me.
I am an Arsenal supporter...Not an Arsene Wenger supporter or a board of directors supporter....I go to support the 11 players representing my club, and i think the worse thing we could do would be to protest during a game.....apart from the fact it would affect the players more than the board, the spuds and mancs would love it.
We had some great support during the newcastle game, and i was hoping this was a turning point and atmosphere at the Emirates would get better... and i honestly believe the players respond to it.
End of the season?? totally different...if we have a shite season then Wenger must go, as it seems it was his decision not to spend money that was available to him.
My view of a decent season would be the carling cup (for the kids) and one other trophy..
Lets stick behind the team...time for protest would be next May

a protest against the way the football authorities and sky treat fans is worth a protest. a day when the manufactured "grand slam sunday" would be great.

I would happily protest against ticket prices, standing, banners and the clubs general attitude towards us supporters. As for protesting against Wenger, no chance.

if charged at full price it mite happen but if this is a reduced rate game it will be hard to get people on board!!
