THE PROJOE TOTALLY POINTLESS TRANSFER RUMOUR THREAD
Whta I mean is ones that are available. I'ld love Joe Hart, but City are not going to sell him, end of. Also he's very young, who knows if at a top club like Arsenal he might wilt away (look at Richard Wright for instance) I'ld like to go with someone experienced like Schwarzer or even Green. Then again any keeper is a risk.

Arsenal want to open talks with Fulham in the next few days over the signing of Brede Hangeland.
Boss Arsene Wenger is desperate to strengthen his defence, especially as there is now a strong possibility that both William Gallas and Sol Campbell will leave the club.
Arsenal have been linked with the Norwegian centre-half since last summer and maintained their interest even though he signed a new three-and-a half-year contract in November.
Standard Sport understands that the club are now ready to make a bid for Hangeland, who will cost in the region of £10million. The defender has impressed ever since he joined Fulham from FC Copenhagen for £2.5m in January 2008 and played a major role in their run to the Europa League Final this term.
He turns 29 next month which is against Wenger's preferred policy of signing young players, but the success of Campbell's acquisition on a free transfer in January has made him have a rethink.
Wenger has recognised he needs to combine youth with experience and sees Hangeland as being a good partner for Thomas Vermaelen.
There is a growing concern at Arsenal over Gallas and Campbell, who have yet to agree new terms.

Laurent Who?!![]()
25yrs old in Sept, 6ft1 played 08/09 with French ligue 2 side Tours![]()
I've never seen him play, I can't help you.
he plays for Lorient (Ligue 1), and he's been very good this season according to french press. He's polish and french. That's what I know.

According to the french newspaper L'équipe, Lorient refused the Arsenal offer of 5m€, but they would let him go for 8m€ (about £7m). He's 24, 6ft1, center back, he wants to play for Poland, and he's been one of the best center back in french league this season.
It's still better than Silvestre imo!
