The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This thread is so irrelevant.

Doesn't matter who we sign.

Once AW gets his hands on them, they're finished.

We have plenty of good players.

Our problem is terrible management, archaic training methods ensuring regular long term injuries, complete absence of any tactical application and a complete lack of boardroom accountability.

I defy any player to rise above all those obstacles and prosper.

I feel we are going to be seriously disappointed once again, however my reasons are slightly different to everyone else.

I am now 100% convinced that no self respecting, high quality player who has intimate knowledge of PL and European football will now come anywhere near AFC whilst Wenger is in charge.

It appears Ozil was pressured into joining us by his management and Sanchez was desperate to get away and into a starting spot, every other high profile player we have been linked with in recent years has come nowhere near us, we know the money isn't a problem, and even with the socialist wage structure wages are high enough, London is probably the most cosmopolitan city in Europe and the PL is still high enough profile world wide to showcase yourself, so it has to be the club/management which is the problem.

IF we buy anyone they'll be young and inexperienced or old and at the end of their career, or maybe injured although that is stretching it, no decent team would buy long term injured players... or loan them :rubchin:

For what it's worth: reliable insider says four midfielders are on Arsenal radar in Jan - two in PL, two in Europe. Says they'll only buy 1.

What a load of old bollocks

1. Would Maureen sell Wenger a virus? He wouldn't even loan us Ba let alone sell us a top class keeper
2. As if There's Only One would have the balls to tell precious little Chesney he wasn't number 1

Mourinho will be sitting at home with a glass of claret on the final day of the transfer window waiting for the phone to ring with Wenger asking if we can loan Cech or sign him for £500k. He will piss his pants.

Besides, taking others left overs is sickening. It's like putting your cock into pussy that has been fucked right before you by your fiercest enemy...

EDIT. Cech is world class keeper still though so if I were Arsenal manager, I would sack our Pole in a blink of an eye and get Cech to replace him.
