Giroud had one of his better games today. He may not of scored but his effort rate was way above his usual stroll. He shouldn't be first choice but he's definitely second striker material. I think too many people on here (like most premier league teams) are forgetting that Leicester have earned their place at the top of the table and were not going to be walked all over. Do I think we'll win the league - no, but how about a little credit to AW for making changes that had an impact? I'll not be holding my breath.

Wow. Great result. Ramsey and Ozil were fucking doing my head in.

Monreal and Bellerin were really good.

And that is the WORST refereeing I have seen since Phil fuckin Dowd in the 4-4 at Newcastle.

Bitter little club supporting wankers. Having said that the lap of honour does indeed sound cringe worthy

It's easy to forget that. The club has got off lightly after their players were caught video being naughty in Asia, after the billionaire owner invited them over, with a lady. They were being totally racist and sexist

Hopefully that piece of shit that nearly crippled ramsey gets done with a 3 match ban retrospectively. Horrible bastard.

Th ref is a coward.

4 hand balls [stopped natural movement of ball]

reacted too quickly the Vardy dive because he let the Kos/Kante incident go

Missing the leg breaking 'tackle' on Ramsey is clearly a conspiracy.

4 mins of injury time is scandalous.

Bottom line is a vital 3 points.
Not at all convinced of any title aspirations though in the overall performance.
Leicester were worthy of their half time advantage, they looked more comfortable in their formation and were the better team, marginally.
On the penalty, any player that leaves a foot out, or a leg dangling in the area when an attacker is running at them is asking for trouble. It wasn't cheating, it was getting an advantage. See the Pires incident a few years ago.
I bet I wasn't the only one who feared the worst when calamity Chambers was starting the 2nd half alongside the BFG.
Vardy must have thought it was Christmas come early.
The red card was possibly harsh, but on a yellow, you have to watch your step. I will mention here I wasn't all that impressed with our persistent moaning to the official after every foul, Giroud and Alexis never stopped.
The only seriously bad challenge was on Ramsey late on.
I think I am correct in saying that up to the red card (54th minute) we had not had an attempt on target, that is very worrying.
Finally, we got Wenger in the post match interview stating we had turned a corner, passed a pivotal moment.
Not at all, we laboured against 11 men, doubftful if we would have won had Simpson not tugged on Giroud, and would probably have come away with just one point had that Pole, built like a brick shit house not been reckless in the 94th minute.
A turning point will be when, or if we do hit the front, we don't choke once again.

I think it was good to see us moaning for a change. This team has been too nice for too long when teams like Chelsea are masters of the 'dark arts'. It was a combination of this moaning and the crowd's noise that got us the sending off and the victory. Let's start being a bunch of nasty bastards.

Not the greatest of performances today, but it should be a win to massively raise the team. One downside today was Sky's coverage, they really are pathetic. They began the day with the plucky Leicester line and didn't want to deviate from that. Very little mention from them on the attempted leg break on Ramsey, and the fact that Leicester did their best stoke impression by being dirty bastards. As for Henry, he almost looked disappointed we got the win.

He can be more careful of where he puts his leg to begin with.
Everything is back to normal chaps, Ramsey is posting dressing room celebrations on twitter.
When will Wenger get a grip on this bullshit?

Totally agree Steve o was never a pen. Because he is Englsh they won't dare call it a dive. If that was ozil at the other end it would have been cheat cheat cheat
Gonna have to disagree with that "great" assessment of Giroud. He was absent first half. And when Ozil or someone isnt feeding him he creats nothing himself.
He can and does work hard, hold the ball up and can be good in the air but today I didnt see much from him. Hes had far, far better performances.

But hey, doesnt really matter now. :barscarf:

The french lampost was his usual self. Unless you get get the ball to him within a yard of where he happens to be standing you might as well kick it into touch. When theo fired it across the six yard line Olly stood and watched it, and early on when Ox got to the byline Olly wasn't within 10 yards of the penalty area.
His movement, anticipation and finishing are maybe OK for a back up player, but nothing more.

High winds combined with Spanish power supply cut the power just as Welbeck came on.

An hour and a half later I thought I was dreaming to see we'd snatched a win.

Kos, Ramsey, Ozil, Giroud and Alexis all disappointing; Cech outstanding, Ox decent and the FBs OK.

I hope Welbeck can find some form because we've no other striking options worth mentioning. The winner at OT?
