Much as I don't rate ODL- if we can secure Nuri Sahin with a buy clause then I will be a happy Gooner. there is no doubt in my mind that this lad is quality.

This is a proper arsenal transfer, off and on squabbling about 90p in the contract, just as you decide you don't actually care anymore he signs

If we had all done it , well it may have, but a solo boycottGunnersaurus wrote:Do you think the boycott achieved its purpose.....?

I think we only get hung up on ownership issues and the like because our team have not won anything in years. People will claim it's because of boardroom issues that we haven't won anything in years. But tbh I wouldn't care who owned Arsenal as long as we were winning titles and trophies on a regular basis.
All I wanted was change and I hope we might be getting that at last, I live in hope

AS: Sahin join #Arsenal on a season long loan for wages of €2.8m with no option to buy the player at the end of the loan deal
Re: The 10 days till its locked "Rumours" thread!
Sahin is quality. So that's good.
Now. Can I please ask why the 4th richest club in the world, that has sold £46 million worth of players is signing a player with NO option to make it permanent? We've sold a midfielder long term - so where's the long term solution? AW has clearly said its max 2 more signings. So here's one and a defender left.
I don't understand why ppl would be satisfied with that outcome. No permanent option? So we pay him, coach him and give him his chance and if he tears it up Real Madrid get to reap the benefits?
Just so we can penny pinch again and say Frimpong is ready next season?

Like I said. Quality player, but another cheap move. Shoulda been perm option or spend the lot on M'Vila or Cabaye.
Mind you I'm not easily pleased so please forgive me...

Probably because Madrid don't want to sell.

I can happily say without fear of being proved remotely wrong, this rumour is bull***t of the highest order. Never.Going.To.Happenmcdowell42 wrote:Arsenal to Use £15m Funds from Alex Song Sale to Launch Bid for Newcastle United Enforcer Cheick Tiote http://bit.ly/O1qQj4 #Arsen
