SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This will be like London buses! We well sign Gustavo and then two more signings will immediately follow! :barscarf:

Surely you realise the level of mockery this statement would inspire in 99% of football fans...?
shows an absolutely flabergasting total lack of self-awareness...

I know Wanger rates him but he's flopped, big time. Old Wanger may have been able to kick start his career but I wouldn't want him anywhere near us now.

It's a shame, as he can play, but it just doesn't work out for some players. One to avoid I reckon.

So West Ham have signed both Carroll and Downing this summer for a combined £20m.... meaning Liverpool have made a staggering £35m loss on the 2 players since signing them in 2011.

Who said there was a mark up on English players?! :rubchin:
