Yeah. best thing that could have happened. Look at Chelsea.

Ancellotti

And look at Man U

Ferguson, 3 titles in a row. Ok not this year. But yeah, best thing that could have happened, losing in Barcelona and against the ****.. yeah cracking..soooo happy tonight.

the 4-4 was worse than this, im really not that bothered about the result, the PLAYERS though were by majority poor, all credit to clichy, campbell and van persie.

even i tihnk clichy played well, at least he tried.

sol and clichy onlt 2 to enhance themselves and rvp of course.

my opionion (not worth much!)

alumunia: well waht do you expect? the 1 moment he needed to do something he did it half arsed and it cost us hte game. he didnt massively cock up (in retrospect yes) but at the time no, what he did was be casual and half arsed by not catching it. as long as we dont sign a proper number 1 we will have to put up with this.

sagna: offered little attacking or defending, average

clichy: tried his heart out (and im a massive critic of his) if the others had tried half as much as him we wouldnt have lost.

sol: legend, nuff said

tv:n/a

silvestre: average some as expected scary moments and maybe at fault for the 2nd (i havent seen rplays cos i was punching the settee)

denilson: no better or worse than what we expect of him, ie hes not good enough and did nothing. he and diaby were summed up in amoment when they just stood watching on hte dge of our box as bale took his time to pass to an unmarked player (possible pav) whilst they just watched.

diaby: tried at times, but mostlly not. had a lot of the ball but moved it sideways and lost possession and put team mates in trouble. brainless person basically who shows flashes of talent, woeful decison making and holds onto the ball too long. (so basically the story of his career)

eboue: average didnt do much wrong or right. got in some positions but cant do anything in the final 3rd to play in midfield. should stay at right back.

nasri: coward. bottler. woeful as ever went missing away from home. not worth 15 million we paid. tried to play namby pamby passes and offered nothing. would have bene better up front with bendnter maybe. no effort. we cant carry a player who only turns up for home games (and even then isnt that good/influential)

rosicky: offered nothing. finished at this level maybe. can do it in lesser games perhaps not ones like this where he needs to take some responsibility and be a star, he was czech captain... but didnt seem to put much effort in or provide leadership, and constantly passed when better placed to shoot and played namby pamby passes and flicks.

bendtner: scored, but only when rvp came on and made things happen. did nothing else all game, and didnt even try to impose himself or go looking for the ball. massively dissapointing. ultimately not good enough at the highest level i tihnk. attitude stinks.

walcott: offered little but tb b fair game was gone and there was no space for him to exploit, which is the only time hes effective. he cant do it when defenders are all over him and showing discipline. should be sold to a long ball team like villa where he has space to run into after the ball.

rvp: class the only time bar the opening 5 mins that we looked threatening. had he started we might have one, even with that freak goal as he provided cutting edge.

ultimately the fact that we've had a week off, and they played 120 mins on sunday in alosing course, yet still looked hungrier, fitter, more up for it is the most dissapointing and anger inducing thing, and the lack of effort by key players.

Some days, a team gets lucky and they did. Two efforts and two goals. As the Australian cricket team used to say: 'Remember the feeling you get from this and make sure you never feel it again.'

In all honesty we knew before the game tonight that the league was out of reach. Pray now that the Chavs will hammer spuds and that Citeh will hammer manure.

Let's just accept we were poor tonight....and tactically we got it all wrong.
The NLD is the big game we all hate to lose, but after a good run of 10 years, it was inevitable, especially without our best players available. Fair due to the scum....they were up for it tonight.

I just wan't to say to RVP..for someone who's been out for about 5 months....I salute you. The SCUM is scared of you, and you showed them good reason why they should be. I only wish you can stay fit for the whole of next season....if you can promise me that, I shall put my house, car, wife, paycheck and even my bollocks on us winning the title. We missed you.

Here's to another 10 years of scr3wing them over. Let's try and get second at least.

PS: To all the bu!!shitters - Nasri is no Fabregas clone......rant over.

Almunia in my opinion cost us again tonight.

Re the first goal he punched at the cross when there was no challenge on him and then attempted to catch the Rose shot which surely he should have palmed away/over .

Expect a triple DVD release from the Lilleywhites 1st half, Half time and 2nd half including post match interviews and commerative mug thrown in.

The sados will live off this for years.

Spurs best season in a decade and one of our worst but we will qualify again for the CL and they won't.

Says it all really about the expectations of the 2 clubs.
