Euro 2012

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He used to try to direct the game at arsenal as well always pointing. Although it's the sign that he can't run anymore.

Not having that......label him lazy and I will agree but watch any team and you will see players directing their team-mates about the pitch and even more so if they are the captain, so have a pop at him all you like but at least let it be for something deserving of it
For what it is worth I thought that arshavin was outstanding in the first half and absolutely diabolical in the second half when he lost possession time after time

Its not just that he was directing other players its that he was the obvious pass and Russia's creative hub and yet he didnt want the ball :rubchin:

..and 5 minutes later when there was a sea of activity by the right touchline, arshavin was an oasis of calm

So now Woy Hodgson says he has grave doubts about Parker and Gerrard being able to play in all the games!!?? It's Wenger mark2! Are these professional sportsmen or pub players? (okay Henderson is a pub player). It's as bad as when Wenger says we lacked maturity and yet he only signed young players! Everyone in football is deluded, from players and managers through to board members, totally disconnected from the real world.

Heard that alright, they're all clamouring for Huntlaar to start. On a separate note the amount of empty seats at this Championship has been unreal. 'Ol fanny head Platini will not be pleased.

What else is new? As good as van Persie is when he plays for Arsenal - he never was great when he played for the dutch national team and there is no doubt Huntelaar should be in the squad. Either both should be on the pitch or just Huntelaar.

Huntelaar scored 31 goals in 3088 minutes for the national team
Van Persie scored 28 in 4675 minutes.

Btw Germany will destroy the Dutch and Denmark will manage a draw.

Anyone who watched the last world cup can testify to how poor rvp has been for the Dutch so it ain't exactly surprising that they want him dropped now is it ? He isn't the first top class goalscorer we have had that failed to produce at international level (wrighty was another) and tbh I don't really give a fcuk about it either

Although to be fair to Wrighty, he didn't get the amount of starts or made the main man for the England team, that with his talent and goal-scoring record at the time he deserved.  :banghead:
