RIP Lebbeus Woods

Lebbeus Woods (May 31, 1940 – October 30, 2012) was an American architect and artist.

Woods sued the producers of the film 12 Monkeys, claiming that they copied his work "Neomechanical Tower (Upper) Chamber". Woods won a "six figure sum", and allowed the film to continue to be screened. The end credits state that his work "inspired" the Interrogation Room set.

Woods is credited as the "conceptual architect" for Alien 3, establishing the look and feel of the film, especially the opening sequence.

RIP Konstantin Vyrupayev

Konstantin Vyrupayev (10 October 1930 – 31 October 2012) was a Soviet wrestler and Olympic Champion.

He competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where he won a gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, the bantamweight class. At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome he won a bronze medal in the featherweight class.

RIP John Fitch

John Cooper Fitch (born August 4, 1917-died October 31, 2012) was a racecar driver born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the first American to race automobiles successfully in Europe in the postwar era. After obtaining an engineering degree from Lehigh University, he began racing in Europe.

Suicide Silence is an American extreme metal band from Riverside, California. The group consists of guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, drummer Alex Lopez and bassist Dan Kenny; they are currently without a lead vocalist after the death of Mitch Lucker on November 1, 2012. Formed in 2002, the band has released three full-length studio albums, one EP and seven music videos. The group has been met with a great amount of praise and favorable reviews while even during 2009, Suicide Silence was awarded with the Revolver Golden God award for "Best New Talent".
