As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The club will dictate this one.
They will offer Sagna a contract with lower than expected wages if they want to "usher" him out the door, same as they did with Clichy.
If they do then surely the money they might be 'saving' on giving Sagna a new contract will not be more than they will have to pay to get a replacement that is of an equivalent quality? You don't have to have a PHD in finance to realise that it's a false economy!!

I would absolutely be 100% confident in that statement too if it wasn't wenker that was in charge - this is a guy that has brought back Jens, sol and TH in the past and flamoney now as well, plus his affinity to his former players means that on occasions we have more former players training with us than we do current players Wenker is also very much guided by money - if he feels that he can bring back this c*nt for half of what he sold him for then I would be shocked if he didn't buy him tbh. If that day comes then that finishes me with modern day AFC

Every word of that is my fear, augie - and I too would not be surprised in the slightest.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, it's no wonder that endless rumours are appearing in the media.
I'm not bothered that we're being linked with Gundongan, Draxler etc, but I am bothered there are almost no rumours of us making enquiries for a top striker. I know there's limited availability, but almost anybody would be better back up than we've got now.
