That window was so fucking bad when SlySports finally announced we had signed Arteta I was so thrilled and relieved I punched the air!! Don't get me wrong, I think Arteta was brilliant for us in his first two seasons (our most consistant player both seasons) but at the time we signed him he wasn't exactly Bergkamp, was he.
Should say I would also agree with anyone that reckons Arteta is now past his best. A shame really because neither Captain Stupid or Coquelin are near his level and whilst Coquelin might eventually get there, Captain Stupid has no hope at this stage.
Fat Sam has said Winston Reid will be leaving in June. Will anyone go for him in January?
I'm undecided if i'd like to see him in an Arsenal shirt or not.
