Re: Manure FA Cup
Got back at 2am this morning. Have to say, this was like the old days our support was amazing. It really came across on tv when I watched the rerun this morning.

Interesting to see that the Mancs are busy bemoaning their "embarrassing diving" on RedCafe this morning.

Was great to come into work this morning...a melt manc fan (who ha snever been to old shatford in his entire life) had been telling me all last week how they were going to rip us a new one
Oh! Sweet is the revenge that comes ceaselessly via verbals/e-mails/internal phone calls and much laughter....
Sent him an e-mail with a made up fotofit headline saying Manure sack Van Gaaal - his reply was "good about time"...obviiously I cascaded this to the other footie fans in the building.....then followed it up with another e-mail to him 'Only joking' - to which he tried claim he wasn't rising to the bait...
Too Late Motherfukka - you've been outed as melt.

What a result last night !!
Finally, we managed to defeat those divers in their own backyard ... it was about EFFIN time !!!
I thought Manure were there for the taking last season as well, but we still managed to come home empty handed.
Luckly, last night the ref didn't buy any of their cheating / play acting and gave them what they deserved.
Our MF was immense and I thought that Coquelen in particular had a blinder... along with Santi , Ox and Ozil.
Shame that the Ox had to be subbed due to injury as he was flying down that the right flank.
Welbeck might not be the best player in the squad, but, boy , he works sooo hard that he earned his goal and got rewarded ...BIG TIME!
SERVES THEM RIGHT !!! Also loved his celebration .. couldn't stop jumping !!! ahah
Watch us win again at their S****hole later in the season in the League!

Re: Manure FA Cup
on a side note what was the story with BBC showing replay after replay when the game was going on? also showing the crowd and the bench while the game was playing away!! ridiculous

Thought the same. Their coverage was shockingly shit. We are attacking and they zoom in on O'Leary and Pat Rice.IW8Goalmachine wrote:on a side note what was the story with BBC showing replay after replay when the game was going on? also showing the crowd and the bench while the game was playing away!! ridiculous

The only part of their coverage I enjoyed was the smile on Keown's face!

Re: Manure FA Cup
What a fucking win. Couldn't have wrote it better in a way, Our Danny scoring the winner and their diving and cheating not working with the referee. It was like a decade or more of demons being overturned in one night in that regard. When Januzaj went down I was convinced theyd get a pen. Not this time you cheating pricks.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought Welbeck was going to hit the side netting or slip when he rounded De Gea. Nothing against him, it just would have been such an 'Arsenal' thing to happen. Went absolutely mental when we won though.
Referee had a strong enough game, as good as you can ask for at that shithole really. The lads played well and only for their keeper who is too good to play for them, The Arsenal would have won by 2 or 3. As an aside, I'm normally VERY cautious about buying into a player who is only back as an emergency and has never even garnered interest from a decent sized club during his spell here, but the Coquelin story is really becoming special, more special every game. The lad was immense last night, just as he has been every game almost since he returned. He wears his heart on his sleeve, plays with pride and is a credit to the club. Long may it continue.
