Get in, hope it's true. Tired of seeing us sell to direct rivals and I don't want to hate TV.topgoon wrote:Catalan papers and radio stations running with the story that we've agreed a deal with Barcawhores for TV5 and it's €13m.
They are claiming manure tried to hijack the deal but we refused to sell to them.
If true then about bloody time.

Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
Selling TV5 without getting a class replacement would be INSANE !
We would have No coverage for the BFG and Kos whatsoever unless of course you count Calum as an acceptable center half ,HUGE burden on a young man !
We only have 7 players at the back for 4 starting places ,if TV goes then its 6.
Unfortunately I do not think we will be doing ANY buying until either we get a soft draw in the CL Qualifying
match or we actually Qualify .

This is a 19yr old that's highly rated and surplus to requirements at moneybags PSG. It smacks slightly of being tight but he is a bit Calum Chambers-ish in being a class act but a bit young to be thrown in at the deep end.
He is less than half the price of Carvalho so you know why we are here. Unfortunately Maureen is also looking at him so they will throw money at him. If the kid would rather go there to be loaned out a million times before being used to bolster their FFP proof finances then good luck to him.
Just seen the original source was the star,so forget all you've read. With their credibility, he probably signed for the chavs a month ago

Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
Topgoon doesn't believe Vermaelen is giving us much choice but to sell him Herd.
It's unfortunate for him that injury, loss of form and Kos/BFG forming a good partnership all happened at the same time because topgoon wouldn't break them up to please him.
We probably didn't want to extend his contract initially last year because we had enough crocs. Still believe he will still get injuries till he gets his back sorted properly later,if that's possible.
It looks like we will possibly do a supermarket sweep on Aug 31st if we do well in out 1st leg play off. If we f**k up,expect the club to batten down the hatches on the transfer kitty till July 2015
Apparently speculating to accumulate doesn't exist their world.

'Arsenal and Liverpool want Edinson Cavani' - PSG striker's agent says Uruguayan would 'love to play in England'
“There has been much interest in the player during the last six months,” Claudi Anelluci is quoted in El Telegrafo as saying.
“I can confirm that Cavani heard proposals from Liverpool and Arsenal.
“(Cavani) Already said he would love to play in England, but has not yet made a final decision," Anelluci continued.

If true, it would have been before we signed Sanchez.TurnipMasher wrote:http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/footbal ... 55907.html

"I WOULD LIKE TO ENGINEER A MOVE FOR MY CLIENT" says Cavani's agent.
The bloke joined PSG for about £50m last year and is 27. Does anyone in their right mind think Wenger would show serious interest unless it was obvious they wanted to sell on the cheap? I certainly don't disagree with him.

It won't happen but I would be very happy signing him but not for anywhere near £50m. About £30-35m max.northbank123 wrote:"I WOULD LIKE TO ENGINEER A MOVE FOR MY CLIENT" says Cavani's agent.

Btw, Italian newspaper La Stampa tells that Vidal has already agreed weekly salary of 229 000€ with Manure. Transfer fee is yet to be negotiated but 60m€ has been said to be enough... It is also said that Juve has put yesterday as a deadline for all transfers out from the club but Manure is trying to push this still through.
Hopefully Juve told them to just fuck off.

Not unhappy it won't happen, at £50million plus fee and very high wages on top....No thanks. I'd rather take a gamble on Remy on a reduced fee, with a contract that compensates us if his heart problems flare up.Arsenal Till I Die wrote:It won't happen but I would be very happy signing him but not for anywhere near £50m. Arsenal agree a fee of around £15m with Spanish runners-up Barcelona for the sale of club captain Thomas Vermaelen.
The 28-year-old Belgium defender must now agree personal terms and pass a medical.
Vermaelen was a target for Manchester United, but the Old Trafford club ended their interest after refusing Arsenal's demand to receive a player as part of the deal.
The move is likely to be completed over the weekend.

Smalling would do nothing to improve Arsenal, better than Jones but so is Djourou. Here's a theory, maybe Arsene did not want Smalling at all, but wanted to put United out of the picture so demanded a swap as part of the deal.Arsenal Till I Die wrote:Smalling is awful.
