Hoilett would be a great signing, looks an exciting talent, who works bloody hard. Also free so perfect for Wenger. Let's hope all these deals are wrapped up ASAP.

From a well respected French journo:
Julien Laurens ‏ @LaurensJulien
Very busy yesterday working on M'vila story. Deal 99% done. 22 million euros, 4 years. Great signing for Arsenal and player is delighted
Julien Laurens ‏ @LaurensJulien
A the moment deal is done with Arsenal finishing 3rd, could slightly change if not but he will still sign. He chose Arsenal over Inter Milan

Matt Spiro ‏ @mattspiro
Arsenal close to signing Yann M'Vila for record £18m.
Graeme Bailey ‏ @SkyGraemeBailey
Reports across the Channel suggesting Arsenal have beaten Inter Milan to Rennes' French midfield star Yann M'Vila. Costing around £18m.
Oliver Kay ‏ @OliverKayTimes
Good work Arsenal - lessons learned from last summer. Podolski and seemingly M'Vila signed, Bould assist mgr. Now for RVP contract talks

I'd be happy with Podolski, M'Vila and Dempsey.

Volz just extended his contract with St. Pauli, but Völler is out of contract - Wenger could sign him for free! :rubchin:
 Wow it would be just like a new signing  :D

That is what we should be aiming for.
I always respect your opinion Quartz, but do you think Wilshere is such a good "creator"? I love the guy but feel he is more a box to box hard worker.

I would love it if we bought Vertonghen too, but don't you think maybe we are buying too many defensive players, but don't know how to coach them?
Well he certainly used to be in the youths and reserves until Wenger decided to play him as a DM to 'broaded his understanding of the game'. :banghead: :banghead:
You forget how good he actually is. Please come back as good as you were Jack !

He wasn't / isn't be hailed as the brightest Arsenal and England Prospect for nothing...he can pick a pass as well as Fabregas...can get tough when needed and shows more passion than many of the over-rated lazytwat moneywhores in our squad at present. I just hope and pray that he will recover fully from his injury and help change our fortunes...we miss him we need him.... :barscarf:

Arteta and m'Vila in the deep roles, providing the base for the great Abou to showcase his talents. Perhaps 2012/13 won't be so bad after all.

Not that I doubt the veracity of the original tweeter, but the rest of them are just picking up on what he wrote and isn't really 'additional inside sources'. Anyway, I just hope they're right because having lost out on Vertonghen after supposedly being favourites, I'd be doubly pissed off if we miss out on this guy as well. :banghead: :banghead:

On the subject of tweets (calm down SteveO, I said tweets not twits!! Although come to think of it... :rubchin: ) can someone tweet John Cross and get him to ask Wenger what makes him believe that Diaby will be any more available to be selected next season than he has been for the past couple? And given that his and Jack's 'few weeks' injury turned into season-long ones, how he can really be confident that either of them will be fit enough to turn out to be the 'like new signings' he is expecting? :rubchin: :rubchin:
