RIP Gae Aulenti
Gae Aulenti (December 4, 1927 - November 1, 2012) was an Italian architect, lighting and interior designer, and industrial designer. She was well known for several large-scale museum projects, including Musée d'Orsay in Paris (1980–86), the Contemporary Art Gallery at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Palazzo Grassi in Venice (1985–86), and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco (2000–2003). Gae was one of the few women designing in the postwar period in Italy, and created many elegant pieces.

RIP Brad Armstrong
Robert Bradley "Brad" James (June 15, 1961 – November 1, 2012) was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Brad Armstrong. He was the son of wrestler Bob Armstrong and brother to professional wrestlers Steve, Scott and Brian.
On November 1, 2012, Armstrong was found dead in his home in Marietta, GA, after seeing his physician the previous week for an undisclosed medical issue. The news of his death was broken via WWE.com.
Along with his father and brothers, Armstrong is survived by his wife Lori, who works for HBO, and his daughter Jillian.

RIP Pino Rauti
Giuseppe Umberto "Pino" Rauti (November 19, 1926 – November 2, 2012) was an Italian politician who was a leading figure on the far right for many years. Involved in active politics since 1948, he was the founder and, for many years, the leader of the Social Idea Movement.

RIP Han Suyin
Han Suyin (12 September 1917 – 2 November 2012) was the pen name of Elizabeth Comber, born Rosalie Matilda Kuanghu Chow. She was a Chinese-born Eurasian author of several books on modern China, novels set in East Asia, and autobiographical works, as well as a physician. She lived in Lausanne until her death and wrote in English and French.

RIP Tommy Godwin
Thomas "Tommy" Charles Godwin (5 November 1920 – 3 November 2012) was a British track cyclist, active during the 1940s and 1950s. He held national records and raced abroad. He later became a coach, manager and administrator.
In 2010 he was selected as an ambassador for the 2012 London Olympics. In 2012, aged 91, he was selected to take part in the Olympic torch relay, carrying it through Solihull.

Theodore "Ted" Curson (June 3, 1935 – November 4, 2012) was a jazz trumpeter. He is perhaps best known for recording and performing with Charles Mingus.

RIP Elliott Carter
Elliott Cook Carter Jr. (December 11, 1908 – November 5, 2012) was a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer. He studied with Nadia Boulanger in Paris in the 1930s, and then returned to the United States. After a neoclassical phase, he went on to write atonal, rhythmically complex music. His compositions, which have been performed all over the world, include orchestral and chamber music as well as solo instrumental and vocal works.
He was extremely productive in his later years, publishing more than 40 works between the ages of 90 and 100, and over 14 more after he turned 100 in 2008. His last work, 12 Short Epigrams for piano, was completed on August 13, 2012.
