THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No matter how average they are, why let Miguel, Forehead etc leave until we have replacements?

Its madness, the first 11 can beat anyone on their day, but we have as much depth as a babys first bath and that is just not acceptable really.
Don't worry Arsene knows 8)

lol, I dont think anyone can accept we have a squad to compete - or even fufill our fixtures

Im sure players will come in, but not having it sorted by the start of the season is a huge disadvantage.

Breaking News - AW has 'Tightarsis'

Post by jaybee »

"....Dartitis (dart-eye-tis) is a condition which can affect darts players, and severely damage their performance. It can be compared to 'the yips', an expression used to describe apparent loss of fine motor skills without any explanation. The term is used in reference to players who struggle with some kind of psychological problem with their technique and/or release of their darts..."

So there it is! Arsene has some form of this condition (though I'm unsure whether he's ever thrown a dart).

His condition of course is 'Tightarsis' (Tight-arse-is), which can affect football managers who've been at the same club for a long time and can cause severe damage to their performance as a manager not only in player selections pre and during matches, but also in parting with cash (ie fear of losing ... in such situations the arse stays tight and the more adventurous/exciting player doesn't get selected for the squad or brought onto the pitch).

But, in Arsene's case though the above has happened and will happen again 2013/14, he has had this affect his 'release of CASH' for a few years now when buying a player is concerned, which as we know can either result in not being 'physically able' to strike a deal or indeed getting 'dros' for a dribble of CASH that manages to squeeze out.

So, if he can be cured, won't all be well again?

FFS I cant believe the *word censored* is still here. If he had an ounce of decency and integrity, the bastard would have done the honourable thing and walked away by now.

He's dragging this once great club to unimaginable depths of the abyss with his deluded philosophical stance which he so arrogantly clings to.

Can't wait for that joyous day when he fucks off.

GTFO Wenger!

I agree with all of your post except the bit in red. I'm sure you meant it to say: 'in 2008.'

To be honest there is a part of me that is quite amused by this "sudden" outcry against wenker by so many akb fans - for the past few transfer windows you were told frequently that there was money available and were also told that several players in our squad were not and never will be good enough but yet you defended your messiah as he sat back and refused to recognise or fix our problems. The fact that this summer inactivity seems to come as a shock to you guys really says more about you than anything that is going on/not going on at the club and without wishing to piss you guys off, but maybe you deserve this torture now having chosen (and it was a conscious decision on your part) to defend wenker based on his achievements in a different lifetime.

For my part, I sway from being absolutely enraged to the more frequent and tranquil "who gives a fcuk" mentality. I've been through this shit so many times before that most of the time I just let it go over my head cos I expect no different. The one thing I will say though, is that if this c.unt gets a new contract then prepare for a meltdown of gigantic proportions cos I will take rage to a whole new level - like it or not I really really hate the c.unt so badly that I wish so many bad things on him and I know that if I mentioned them on here, then a lengthy ban would be heading my way
